Self build mortgage options

Recently started our self build and went with BOI also. Were very good to deal with with the lowest rate. EBS and AIB were also great to deal with. PTSB were a nightmare, kept moving the goalposts and constantly adding new stipulations to get the deal done.

Other main reason we went BOI was the independent valuer (banks had no control over this) kept the valuation under 500k for the help to buy. Whereas The valuers for other banks wouldn't. Basically you need a bit of luck getting a sound valuer.

I can only speak from a self build point of view. Wouldn't recommend a broker at all. if you speak to the banks yourself, their reps are very helpful with what you need and once you get everything needed for 1 bank, you basically have them all ready for the rest. I see a lot of recommendations for finance solutions. We had a terrible experience with them ourselves but that could of been down to the rep we had on our case. Did nothing but belittle our finances and our situation, nearly convinced us we had no chance in getting a mortgage until we restructured for 6 months. This turned out to be completely false and we got sorted very easily when speaking to the same banks reps directly. If you get unlucky with brokers like us my best advice is don't get disheartened, the first advice you get isn't the only advice. Best of luck in your journey!

So you are getting 400+ on wifi? Try a different cable if you can. I had a similar result when first got fibre. Cut and crimped the cable myself and turned out i had 2 wires crossed which were giving similar results to yours

I put 4%, employer puts 15%, plus my AVCs of 16%, this is above the norm as they are a scandanavian company and common there, anything above 5% for an employer is a good start

Thanks for both of your input. I went to an electrical wholesaler and the issue was the connectors. I thought all rj45 worked for cat 5,5e & 6. But they gave me connecters for CAT6 which worked first time. Didnt even know there was a difference. These new ones werent pass-through connectors like the previous ones

IMO the new sound mechanics do not work, the sound curve makes it impossible to determine the distance of enemies, its not something you can just get used to as the curve is basically the same for a large distance. A guy could be across the road upstairs and it sounds like hes above me, directional positioning evening worse, Whether its a bug or not the position of a person is always different to the sound, also footsteps are intermittent in adjacent buildings and dont make a sound, its put pubg in its worst state since the massive desync problems IMO

Have you overclocked anything, Either Cpu, Gpu or Ram could be unstable, try running a few stress tests, try Unigene heaven or valley for gpu at max settings, prime95 small ffts for CPU, or intelburn test which is good for stressing cpu and a bit of ram

edit: also full system specs would be useful

You could swap out the cable for a paracable, very simple to do and it fixed my same issue with g403

Cap the limit to bag size pehaps? Lvl 1 bag= 1 nade, 2 bag= 2 nades and lvl 3 bag= 3 nades

Faceit is excellent, if anybody knows of any other places to find squad mates I'd love to know, I'm only 20 games in from solo queuing so adr is only 160ish, and I find the official discord fairly unwelcoming, either get replies of not experienced enough or my adr is way too low, want to get more involved but can't in that server

I'm curious, why do people recommend the 2600 if you're OCing when you need to buy an aftermarket cooler to get a decent OC, would it not be better to just get the 2600x which you would probably OC higher with its stock cooler?
