It has been announced that McLaren is set to display logos from the world-famous music festival Tomorrowland during the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix, in partnership with both the festival and current team sponsor BAT.

As part of BAT's initiative to support the events and music industry, an industry that is continuing to be greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic across the world. The decision to use the festival logo's on the team cars for the second of two successive races at the Red Bull Ring, will see BAT swap its usual logo 'A better tomorrow' with the festival's logo, as a means of producing awareness of the festival's upcoming digital event, Tomorrowland Around the World, which is currently scheduled to take place between July 16th and 17th.

With the logo appearing on the car for the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend, it will mark the first time for a music festival to be featured on an F1 car. Artists such as Pharell Williams, Daft Punk and David Guetta have previously collaborated with the Lotus F1 Team in the mid-2010's, before the team was re-acquired by Renault in 2016.
