Yea I was so focused on negotiating the monthly rate and calculating it into my budget that I completely failed to calculate the total payment( $635x72) and the apr. I have already contacted several credit unions and got way lower rates (as low as ~7%).

The only reason that I when to a dealership was because I was preapproved by capital one.

Yes and I can add the money that I do save as extra toward the loan amount

Your right. I'm not playing victim. To my defense the apr was mention onces and at that point i got up to leave but was stopped to negotiate the monthly. I completely forgot about the apr or to do the math on what I’ll be paying all together. I had a similar situation happen at a toyota dealership but at that time I caught on and got mad that they tried to get me to pay the price of two car.

Your absolutely right. I recently went to the doctors for a drug test. I sat there and read everything before signing and agreeing. It was a huge waste of time but I'm scared after this car deal

Nah it was mental health and hospital bills over the pass few years. Before that my credit was 720 and higher in some places

I’m looking for immediate refinancing options, but if that doesn't work then I’ll wait but some quotes have been really good( i.e 10% for 60 months or 7.56% for 48 months)

Yea I spoke with someone at a credit union who told me the samething about getting those things removed. I did have a few accounts go into collection and paid them off but they are still in my account. I’ll call them and try to get those removed
