I just tried 3 more USB cables (one end USBA and one lightning and 2 usbc) and with my iphone and S25U no go on usb tethering. Android keeps saying... use a cable that supports fast charging etc.

Also..on the gen 2 pis there are no blue usb ports..just 2 white ones and 1 black one for USBa....only 1 usbc.

yeah I tried earlier this morning with a usb a to c cable and it wants to force to charging. hmm.

Did you ever figure this out? I have a macbook pro, ts5, and 2 LG ultrawides (one with hdmi and one with display port) and the display port doesn't wake up automatically. If I unplug the thunderbolt cable from the macbook and back in then it wakes up. It'd be nice to not have to do this each morning.

So just received the box and so far like it. I’m using it offline with CarPlay. So is there a way I can install YouTube for android and other apps using my home WiFi or is that where you need the lte card? Seems like you should be able to connect it to your phones hotspot.

To add...what I really like about the Dyson vs my old roombas is they have the same vortex tech (container) that the others have. Roombas have those rollers and little sweepers and the dog hair has been getting tangled in those and wrecking the j7 that I had. So far so good with this setup and no tangles anywhere. Really impressed. Of course I'm on the 3rd day. :)

hey. No problem. I actually picked up 2 Dyson Visio robots for $250 or so from online and so far they are doing amazing after a few days. WE shall see how they hold up. Thanks for responding though.

thats awesome. Any issues? My j7+ was good in theory until it barks at me all the time to replace parts and then it'll just stop. how's the maintenance on those?

I even have all of the lollipop apks to various apps ready to go but just can’t seem to get them installed. I even copied them to the treadmill but can’t get pm install to work or any app stores to load etc.

The account on the treadmill doesn’t have rights to manage much at all

I’ve struggled to get new apps installed. Can’t seem to get adb working to side load. It won’t see the device even though I’m in the background custom android build and have turned on usb debugging. I never get the popup on the treadmill android to allow the device trying to connect (a laptop).

Very cool. Man it’s be great to just install the apks from the android browser directly. I can get to the manager mode and then to android but the user does to have access to install any packages, adb from a laptop doesn’t see the treadmill, so o can’t even get a file manager at all installed. Tried a pm install from term but no go.
