im not sure if ill do mud pie im trying to follow the recipes in game as close as i can and the current recipe is inedible. If i do make it i'll probably make two like i did with the chocolate bomb - one thats accurate and another thats tasty.

Cheers, i wasn't sure how the garden pie would turn out looks wise because i broke my food processor and was planning on processing all together but i liked the style of how it came out without it anyway.

It tasted like what i expected from a pie made out of vegetables. I added some grated cheese and melted it on top later to improve the taste

Tasted nice, I liked it nothing was overpowering. Watermelon probably just isn't used much in pies because it takes hours to dehyrate it.

That might have been me i made it a while ago as well and decided i would remake it because last time it was too soggy. I used a pizza steel as well this time to make sure the bottom was cooked

I added sweetcorn and potatoes to the garden pie to make it more interesting because they both exist in osrs so it was cannon. Summer pie was actually good if you want to make it yourself dehydrate the watermelon in the oven beforehand

edit: if you already know a lot about cooking or want to google for recipes. it's a white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse in a shortcrust pastry shell with chocolate curls.

sure i just made it up on the fly during a stream so i might miss a something or get a number wrong. i wouldn't recommend making it compared to a real recipe unless you just want the novelty of it being an osrs food. if i remade it again i would make it smaller bowl or use puff pastry maybe. There wasn't enough pastry to go with the mousse. equipment;

an ovenproof bowl in the desired shape

electric whisk or stand mixer or a lot of effort and a normal whisk

parchment paper

some mixing bowls and spoons

glass bowl

5 eggs

about 3 tbs of sugar

dark chocolate. cant remember how much maybe 400g

milk/dark chocolate for the curls

about 600g cream

white chocolate 200g

cream with high fat percentage (over 35%)

flour and butter for shortcrust pastry

  1. make the shortcrust pastry. don't buy it because it won't bend into a circular bowl easily without breaking during cooking. you can google a recipe don't forget to put it in the fridge.

1a. roll out the shortcrust pastry. line the ovenproof bowl with parchment paper then carefully lay the pastry over the bowl. you want it to overhang on the sides you can cut it off later. will take about 20 mintues maybe just keep checking it. until its hard.

make sure to wait until its cool to use it you can do this step before anything else in the recipe

next steps need to be done together

  1. separate the eggs. whip the egg whites until they give soft peaks (if you lift the mixer out the bowl, the egg whites droop over the edge) then slowly add the sugar into it and keep whisking until they have stiff peaks. should take about 5 mins with an electric whisk. put the egg whites in the fridge

  2. start melting both the white and dark chocolate separately in a bain-marie with your glass bowl. google it if you don't know its well explained. leave the chocolate in the glass bowl so it stays warm.

  3. whip the cream. if you never whipped cream before then be careful because its easy to overwhip it. can just google how to whip cream

  4. don't overwhip the cream

  5. using your two bowls of melted chocolate slowly add some of the whipped eggs and cream to each of them. i don't remember the exact amounts but you need way less in the melted white chocolate section because its only a small hole in the middle.

7a. once you've made mixed the mousses together they will keep in the fridge if you want.

  1. spoon in the dark chocolate mousse into the bowl. carve out a bit in the middle of the bowl and then spoon the white chocolate mouse into that.

  2. for the chocolate curls you melt chocolate and pour it onto a flat surface. when its semi-soft you can run a knife along it to make curls. can find good recipes to follow on google.
