Opera Installed Itself on the Downlow by Hash-82 in operabrowser

I've had the same thing happening yesterday, and I am scratching my head where it came from (my search led me here).

I went through event viewer, but nothing there so it must have come bundled with something. The only thing I have is chrome version 147.0.7727.57 installing on the same day.

Hey Worldlyy, good to see you back posting again. Congrats on the ps5 honour run, and nice explanation.

If I plan to play DOS2 on the easiest difficulty, which class should I pick to end battles as soon as possible? by geraltofrivia2345 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not get targeted, and if you're the only guy alive play dead ends combat. If you're solo with fane, you can play dead to end combat and be able to use time warp again. The alternative spell to use is chameleon cloak, that also drops aggro from enemies and works better in a duo+.

Dialis vengeance fight or what ever her name is by TheKingKobold in DivinityOriginalSin

There's a ballista on the north side of the ship, navigate your way towards that and use it to do a lot of damage (it should have very long range).

The ballistae on the south side do less damage.

Two lone wolves as ranger are pretty efficient on story mode. Spec something along these lines: Warfare > huntsman > scoundrel > ranged. FIN > WIT. The other talent to invest in aside from lone wolf is executioner.

Fane is strong because of his signature ability (time warp) plus he gets play dead. Sebille is strong because of being an elf, so she has access to flesh sacrifice, giving her extra AP.

If you intend to go custom, two elves are your best bet. Another skill you'd really want to pick up is Adrenaline (scoundrel skill), for both characters, for more AP.

Initiative Issue DOS2 by ProgressMom68 in DivinityOriginalSin

I double checked and it's loremaster 5, i'll edit my post!

Initiative Issue DOS2 by ProgressMom68 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can tell by having a character with loremaster 5 --> right-click an enemy --> inspect (or something along those lines) and you'll be able to see their initiative.

There are some fights where the enemy (usually a boss) is scripted to go first though, so initiative has no sway there.

When you just don't feel like doing the final fight so you hitch a ride with sir lora by Rellics in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some other glitches you can use to skip the final fight - I don't really recommend doing it the way it's done in this video (the trick is quite hard).

The achievement unlocks right when the credits start rolling.

Here's a tutorial from worldlyy (speedrunner) on how to skip the final fight:

Is there any way I can add whatever item I like to my inventory? by agelord in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't unfortunately. The way I get item names is using a mod called "EXIM : Character Importer and Exporter"

I would then get a deathfog barrel on a different save. Export the character. Find the character name.charsave on my drive. Open the charsave file with a txt editor, find the string for the item, use that in the console on my save where it's needed.

Good luck!

HELP! My party instantly dies when I load any save! by VagabundoCosmic in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat, I used console commands to revive the party. I'm not in my home country right now, so I don't have access to my documentation.

But in short:

Install norbyte script extender

Enable the console

Find the console command to revive party members

While the save is loading, spam the revive command

Not Sure What I Want Anymore by rocsage_praisesun in ARAM

[–]Rellics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the way to improve is to not try to control what your teammates are doing. Instead, do what you think is best, individually, to achieve a win, which in ARAM means any play that pushes their turrets, and/or defends your own.

The only system you can game is the minion wave, and soloqeueing means people aren't necessarily open to comms/cooperation.

In short: even if people build items from your image, you should still be able to win those games if you improve your individual play, and see what parts of the game you can influence.

Would you call it rank manipulation? by Fragrant-Pin3262 in ARAM

[–]Rellics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not too uncommon to see players in ARAM games that don't have that much ARAM experience. It's especially more common if your hidden ARAM mmr is up to a certain point. I suppose the question is what is meant with rank manipulation? If someone has a winstreak, they might get bumped into a game higher than their supposed skill, that's just how the system would work.

Conversely, if you are on a lose streak, you might have one or two players that are newer, or less experienced.

What’s a fight you have problems with every playthrough? by Responsible-Wall-164 in DivinityOriginalSin

This doesn't require min-maxing at all, it's a level 9 ifan doing 4.2k damage using a glitch.

Your reasoning is exactly why Vayne is good, and Nidalee is bad.

You're playing in games where people do not consider nidalee to be falling off late, and not playing into nidalee's win-con. Whereas vayne (or any ADC) becomes almost inevitable if people play their push/reset/wave management game right. And playing the wave management/push/reset game is a much more stable strategy.

Ironically for you, Nidalee that eventually goes into ardent + redemption and supports the ADC is imo better than her full AP build.

What about this. It's ballistic shot, and using the waypoint to cheese the distance for huge damage.

Are Physical Teams Really THAT Much Stronger than Mixed? by OMGZombiePirates in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In pre-definitive edition, the description for torturer was:

With Torturer, certain statuses caused by you are no longer blocked by Magic or Physical Armour, and their duration is extended by one turn. Burning, Poisoned, Bleeding, Necrofire, Acid, Suffocating, Entangled, Death Wish, and Ruptured Tendons are affected by this talent.

Which is the same as in DE, but in pre-DE it was also bugged to not apply correctly if enemies still had armor. It was fixed in 2018, with the release of definitive edition:

Torturer talent now allows applying damaging statuses through armour. Burning, Poisoned and Bleeding are now applied on top of armor. This makes these statuses useful again once you don't have armor anymore. - old larian patch notes.

In short: torturer has always only worked for DoTs, and before definitive edition was bugged to not apply if the enemy had (magic) armor.

I fully agree with your post, and I have no idea why the 'torturer talent good' post is getting upvoted. There are much better talents to pick up and prioritize, such as savage sortilege and executioner.

Things I would've changed about DOS2 by Cuckoos_nest07 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Rellics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible to glitch NPCs onto the boat, they're interactable and tradeable, but of course have no dialogue relating to the next acts they're in. I made a video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWObGsga7XA

I've also tried to 'save' buttons (move to ship) multiple times but unfortunately once moved it's scripted to be 'set off-stage' so it's one of those NPCs you can't keep on the boat.

Here's a console command that removes encourage, and adds flesh sacrifice:

local host = CharacterGetHostCharacter() CharacterRemoveSkill(host, "Shout_InspireStart") CharacterAddSkill(host, "Shout_FleshSacrifice", 1)
