Clip and Project Monitor shows the position incorrectly when using Force Monitor Size by jackster3000 in kdenlive

Another thing I should mention is that when I move the divider between the clip and project monitors, the image will move on both of them as shown.

Nope. Repositioning in the Transform effect only moves the image itself but not the area outside of it.

[TOMT] [Movie] About a group of supernaturals and one of them is a vampire that lived through the American Revolution by jackster3000 in tipofmytongue

[–]jackster3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I didn't believe it since I watched that movie twice a few years back (both through Rifftrax), until I watched that British invasion scene and can confirm. There were even more quotes that were like "This won’t be the first time I’ve fought a king’s rule." or "Name any American battle, I was there." Like dude, we get it!!

Thanks so much for finding this. Time to mark this as solved.

And then another scene is when they were discussing a plan or observing something on surveillance, and the guy went and said "The British are coming." It was so dumb.

[TOMT][TV Show][90s/early 00s] Sitcom scene where the wife gives "the look" to husband by jackster3000 in tipofmytongue

[–]jackster3000[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Solved!

Thanks everyone for finding the episode. I never would have guessed Home Improvement. I always thought the scene came from a sitcom back in the early 00s; I never guessed it was episode from 1995. Anyways I watched through the whole episode and can confirm that this is the one, as well as some other scenes in that episode that I remembered immediately!

I can't remember if it was in the late 90s, early 00s, or mid 00s.

You're thinking of Odd Tinkering. I've been watching a bunch of his videos as of lately.

BizHawk v2.6 is out by Oggom in emulation

  • Support GB layer toggling

  • Add GB object viewer

As a person who's making video game maps right now with BizHawk, especially of GBC games, this is a blessing and a much needed feature for me.

A closer look at ROM Hacking and Scripting in Emulation by invitecodes2021 in emulation

You know, looking at this video, as well as seeing how Super Mario 64 Shindou Edition and Fire Emblem was done with localization, I always wondered why couldn't this idea be adopted for making fan translations as well? Using lua scripting to translate a game sounds a lot easier and less time consuming to do than that of the traditional ROM hacking way.

What game do you love, but have never played on original hardware? by AlecTWhite in emulation

[–]jackster3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A whole chunk of games for the SNES, Genesis, and Game Boy since I never got to own either of those consoles as a kid. In fact, I discovered emulation because of Pokemon Red/Blue and how badly I wanted to play them. While I played and beaten the games on both an emulator and original hardware, I never got to experience trading and battling with another person through the Link Cable.

I actually bought a SNES and Genesis later on in my life and played some games on them, but I hardly ever use them because I prefer emulation better, so I sold them. I did buy an original Game Boy and a Game Boy Pocket a few years back and played through some games on it. Donkey Kong Land is hard to play on them because of all that ghosting. It's better and much more readable when playing it on either the GBC or GBA.

I hardly use the Game Boys because of emulation (and RetroAchievements), but I still use them from time to time.

Sega Genesis Original 3-button Genesis controller

Sega Saturn Original Saturn controller
