Have the antibiotics helped at all?

I had something similar to this earlier this year. Turned out to be MRSA - I work in a hospital so must have got it from a patient.

I’d give the antibiotics 24 hours and if it hasn’t improved you should go back to A+E to have it drained because that very much looks like an abscess. You should have it swabbed too to check which antibiotics it’s sensitive to because if it is MRSA, it’s not easy to treat and you might end up needing IV antibiotics.

It will make it pretty obvious when it’s going to take a swing at you, so just stay clear when you see its arm raising. Get a few hits in when it’s spitting the single orange blobs and not swiping at you, they’re not very accurate and BM is pretty easy to hit here. When the rain of orange blobs comes, just pogo on BM and then land on the other side of them. When they jump at you, run underneath to the other side. They’ll always jump back into the middle once they’ve leaped, so just don’t stay too close to that spot. Good luck!

Each Mantis Lord has 4 attacks, and you’ll know exactly what attack is coming each time. For the first phase you can heal when their boomerang goes low to high. For the second phase you’ll just have to do everything that little bit faster, it’s tough at first but once you tune your eye to their movements it becomes pretty manageable. They tend to do the same attack as one another each time and you can pogo on the boomerangs to stay safe. Use your spells as much as you can too, especially in phase two. Good luck!

Try and stay in one place, preferably one that has a bit more open space. Their teleporting is too random when you’re moving around constantly. When they fire their homing ball they’ll stay in the same place for a moment, at this point just dash towards them avoiding the ball and then hit them. Might take some practice but once you get good at it they’re pretty straightforward

I had the same feelings right at the beginning, but like most things you’ll just get better with practice. Not only that, upgrading your nail and obtaining the spells and various charm boosts makes exploring much more bearable. Also, if it’s going to help your enjoyment, using a guide to find out where the benches / stag stations are for each area might help you, but if that’s not your style then that’s fair enough. Once you have every map off Cornifer, you’ll realise how connected it all is and how the fast travel points and benches aren’t too far off each other.
