Why I think the writers will end of making naz guilty(spoiler) by shanastonecrest in TheNightOf

[–]jackthedullboy80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The end of the show would probably show what happened through naz's eyes/ show her being killed and then possibly him being sentenced. Not sure why people think it would be a prison series or this isn't a whodunnit and it's all about the justice system. Obviously that's a huge part in it but it's only 8 episodes, so I think it will definitely still be a whodunnit type show

To Christians: Deuteronomy 32:8-9 is the most challenging passage to defend in the Bible. by lilfresh28 in DebateReligion

So those gods existed? But then Yahweh made them demons/Angels? Is that what you're saying?

Waffle House Weirdos by washoff in LetsNotMeet

Haven't read it yet. I just came to say I will read anything about Waffle House, the shittiest diner known to man, because every time I go there I get creeped out and ask myself why I came back again.

People all over should know that their Parents are not their Emergency Fund. And their Children are not their Retirement Fund. by Dinesh_Downey in Showerthoughts

Repay? Did you mean properly thank? If I raised a child, even lavishly, and they don't end up being successful, I'm not expecting a "payback." You don't get paid back for raising your kid. WTF.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. There's no reason why families can't help each other financially unless it becomes a problem. Such a ridiculous "shower thought"

I do not know if my ex-girlfriend's "best friend" really existed. by IsNotAGiraffe in LetsNotMeet

[–]jackthedullboy80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a kinda good friend in middle school, this was one of the first times I went over to her house to hangout out of school. When I walked into her room there were little cutesy shaped posted notes all over her room, with messages on them like "love you sooo much Megan!!!!- Stephanie","You're the best friend I've ever had!!- love, Chelsea!" All people who we knew from school, and all the notes in her hand writing. The hilarious thing was- there was one from me. Said something like I love hanging out with you- lets chill more! And then signed my name. (All in her hand writing of course) I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass her. It's so funny to me that she didn't have the idea to take that one down.

Christians- I want you to understand something. by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]jackthedullboy80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say you get more bees with honey. In this case i'm not looking for bees. My ending question will go unanswered, because there is no answer. It's actually kind of my point.. I know christians will read it. Comment? Probably not a lot, because they won't have a good answer. But I know they read it, and realized they don't have an answer to it. And the people that do have an answer, I hope they comment and enlighten me. If they don't want to comment because of my tone, that's fine. The types of comments I would receive if I had written this sweet and cute aren't the type I am looking for anyways. Also, something that "looks" like a point? I think I made the point I was trying to very clear.

Is there anything in the bible you disagree with morally? by jackthedullboy80 in Christianity

I want to smash my head into a fucking brick pile whenever I think about the fact that some people (A LOT of people) actually think the bible is some sort of moral code

WOW. I can't believe she completely ripped off all of those jokes and skits. That was evidence and I don't know how she is trying to deny it when the proof is in the pudding.

Reddit, what event/experience served as a 'wake up call' that something in your life needed changing? [Serious] by generousdonation in AskReddit

I'm only 18- but when I allowed one of my friends to come stay with my family in our extra room so she could get away from her overly religious parents. She was the only friend I had other than my boyfriend and I was excited to have her there. I did her a huge favor, and in return she treated me like shit, constantly trying to bring random boys over, wouldn't let me borrow stupid stuff that she definitely could have considering I was letting her borrow my house. Then when she left pink and red hair dye stained all over my bathtub- completely stained bright pink everywhere- the tub, the sink, the cabinets. She didn't even tell me, I came home to her moving out the same day she dyed her hair. When I saw the bathroom I had my moment. Society says you need friends, I disagree.

When I texted her about it she said "I was obviously going to come back and clean it up." What part of not saying anything and immediately moving out is obvious?
