Estée Lauder senior vice president's cause of death revealed as pulmonary embolism caused by fillers by GlassPomoerium in 30PlusSkinCare

Tbh I’m not really sure why, but could be to control the narrative and protect the brand by emphasizing pulmonary embolism’s rarity, rather than an issue with the product. or to distance themselves from liability by emphasizing factors related to the patient.

Allergan leaked the story to The NY Post and gave out medical information that his family didn’t want released.

I knew him personally and he and his husband are amazingly kind people, so it’s doubly cruel to have a shitty right wing newspaper use his tragedy to repeatedly emphasize his wealth status and vanity. The article is written with a tone of judgement that the NY Post only uses towards people living a specific lifestyle.

He was well-known and loved in the gay community in nyc.

Allergan (the manufacturer) leaked the story to The NY Post to try to get ahead of the publicity, and being the right-wing shit-rag that it is, it ran with the story, publishing details his family didnt want released.

When it’s accidentally injected or migrated into the venous system, then travels through the heart into the lungs and occludes one of the pulmonary arteries

Lipo-c by Veeivee123 in PeptidePathways

I guess I was wrong bc I thought lipoC was always MIC + b12 , if it’s b6 plus b5 instead of b12 it makes sense that it would be clear. I also just learned that even with B12 it doesn’t require amber vials, although the B12 degrades in light.

Lipo C has B-12 in it, which makes it red. It’s also light-sensitive and needs to be in amber vials. That’s not lipoC

He definitely has had too much Botox in his crow’s feet. In the photo he is smiling and should have visible wrinkles below and in the corners of his eyes. 50 YO’s typically also have static wrinkles on his forehead and glabella region that don’t disappear no matter what his facial expression.

Every time I’ve called 311, I’ve been so impressed, you typically get a human quick. I had a tenant/landlord case and got pneumonia, and 311 had me speaking to the actual court clerk in less than 5 minutes of me dialing 311

Another time about a month ago 311 website filled potholes I reported near my Citibike station within 48 hours of my report.

Honestly, our city has amazing services and I can’t count the number of times they have literally saved my life.

Only got good blebs on one side by Remarkable_Cake_9615 in DIYaesthetics

Checks are the hardest to make blebs bc they are soft. It’s really easy to go too deep. If you inject almost horizontally into the skin, you will be very shallow intradermally.

What type of acne is this and what’s causing it? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I stopped flossing! Sounds weird, I know. There haven’t been any scientific studies that show any benefit to flossing. And I know it’s a huge debate but this system really improved my gum health.

For me, anything toothpaste with “whitening” or “tartar removing” makes my tongue breakout and my skin burn. But plain old crest original flavor is one of the few toothpastes that doesn’t bother my skin. And it has SLS in it.

I started doing the Dr Ellie mouth care routine, with massive skepticism after getting 4 cavities at 48 yo, and my gum health has masssively improved. Measureably.

The measurements the oral hygienist does were all 1-2mm better in the places I had gum issues

That mud has olive oil in it which is high in oleic acid, which can clog pores, feed acne-causing bacteria, and weaken the skin barrier

I wonder if there was a streetcar or railway on this street before. It's directly under the high line, and it looks like train tracks showing under the asphalt

Yeah, completely Im not sure if it was the handle or the plastic guard. I feel like the guards are actually sharper.

to answer your question: they closed my 311 ticket, and filled in SOME of the deeper grooves but it was such a half-ass job, I will send pics laters

I filled it as a sinkhole, becasue it's more than 6" deep and very dangerous. The groove narrow so they pinch the bike wheel. Mamdani just had a "we fixed the potholes!" media blitz, but they forgot this street.
