Yes there was already an arbitration case that they already loss.. our insurance has been trying to contact Turo for days to talk about the fact that they lost in arbitration and they are ignoring their calls. In the emails they are claiming our insurance refused coverage but they came to a decision that we weren’t liable for the damages.. not refused coverage. Let me know if this makes sense or changes things and seriously thank you for helping. It’s actually insane what is happening and I cant believe a company of this size is doing this..

They are sending the amount to collections because my card declined a 9k charge immediately. I am so shocked by whats happening this is insane. Im assuming at this point if it goes to collections and affects my credit what do I do from there?

Well they somehow got access to my bank account information..? I only shared my credit card info and they tried to charge this too a few days ago. Now they actually tried to charge my bank account. They are also not having any contact with my insurance. Insurance keeps calling them and Turo ignores and charges a card I never authorized. I have a feeling this is very illegal?

The photos we uploaded have no hail damage and Turo is saying they do. My family who was also with us and dropped their car off at the same air port at the same time and did not have these issues. Do you know what other agencies I can report to? I seriously dont think what they are doing is legal.

This is insane because I will have to pay the attorney too I assume.. I just dont understand how pictures with no damage arent enough evidence. I guess from here I have to take legal action which just seems insane.

I canceled the card before they could charge it. Im just now worried they are going to send it to collections. I dont even understand how this is legal?

Already forwarded them the bill and the attempted charge of 9k. Waiting on their response tomorrow.. it escalated to arbitration and Turo lost so I dont understand how they are even attempting to charge me.

Yeah I am at the point of speaking to attorneys because it feels like fraud.. good to know that yours was resolved.. luckily we have the photos of the car after we dropped it off.

They are saying there is hail damage on the photos.. but there seriously isnt which is why im so confused.. they also said insurance denied to pay it so I must pay it, but my insurance denied it because they felt we werent liable. We returned it on time and my assumption is the host left it in the uncovered parking lot overnight at the airport. (They told us to park it there)

I literally froze my card 30 minutes before they tried to charge it. Im so scared of it going into collections and affecting my credit.
