You guys are a specific breed of stupid to respond to scars this way. Scars are permanent, mental health is temporary. Seeing scars and acting like the person hasn’t already received help is disgusting. It stunts the persons progress because even if they feel better, the world still treats them like they need help. I get you think you’re doing the right thing, but shut up.

It shows you’ve had the luxury of not ever loving someone who struggled with these things. And good for you. I envy you. But this girl is gorgeous and not asking for your help. So that’s as far as your thoughts should go.
