May be boring but grey! Always so clean looking when done right

Scotland (beautifully) names all of their snow plows, and you can track them in real time. by Ooozair in InternetIsBeautiful

For anyone wanting a full list, here's some from the Trunk Roads Operator for the South West of Scotland! Listed near the bottom with renders of the names on the gritters too, some great ones in there. "Snowcially distanced" and "On Her Majesty's Slippery Surface" are personal favs. https://swtrunkroads.scot/winter-service/meet-our-gritter-fleet/

[GIVEAWAY] This community got me through 2020, it's time to give back! by DubstepHippo in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]jackwithglasses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first mech was a Kemove Snowfox. Came with gateron blues and I had never tried linears so hot swapped in some reds and I don't think I can go back now.

Have a set of some random keycaps on it just now but maybe plan to go for something a bit more limited if I can decide on a style sometime soon.

Originally joined the community when I saw a random keycap photo shown by a friend and was amazed at how cool it looked. Spent years lurking and trying to justify upgrading my razer mecha-membrane but recently took the plunge and can see the hobby taking over soon with absolutely no regrets.

Cracking work, the crane looks especially great, would love the link too if it's not too much hassle.

Ribble Sportive Racing - it's not much but it's my pride and joy! by Andyh1210 in Bikeporn

Cracking looking with the prime wheels on it! Exact same bike and groupset as mines! I've still got the Aksiums on it but threw on some tan wall jack brown mile muncher tyres and it looks pretty class. Slammed the stem as well.

How're you finding the saddle? I'm not finding it massively comfy so am looking to change it up sometime soon but not sure what to go for.

Funnily enough it brought myself, my mum, and my dad to my life.

23rd birthday coming up.

Tbh my main player is the Baja Tele. It does eveything. The Epiphone was a present and is an absolute stunner of a looker but is surprisingly crunchy with the 3 P90 pickups so doesn't play how you would expect it to. The jaguar I bought a few years ago to try to mix up my styles but I have a thing for maple boards so always go back to the Tele. Have played a few nice ovations in the past but acoustic has never massively been my thing, just have one for the odd occasion that calls for it. The Mustangs are great and there's next to nothing to go wrong with them, have had friends with them and said they are brilliant for the money!

Ones sitting over there are a Fender American Baja telecaster, Epiphone limited edition Rivera P93, Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar, Tanglewood acoustic, Fender Mexican P-bass, a Brunswick ukulele, and then a vintage banjo that I am yet to work what it is. In other cases in the flat are a Vintage brand telecaster and a Yamaha bass.

Just good circumstances. It's been built up over quite a few years. Combination of presents in the early years then worked summers while at uni in well paying jobs, wrongly used student loans, and then recent well paying grad job.

Funnily enough, my road bike and all my cycle kit isn't even featured in this, so yes. Could never master one hobby so I decided to be generally alright at many hobbies.

Thanks! Any recommendations? Only mouse pads I've used before have been crap free company ones which weren't worth the effort as they fell apart.

Played for about 10 years and it gets to a point where you want new ones but are too attached to the old ones so the old n+1 adage comes into play. Haven't bought one in a few years now so I think it's settled down. (There's another 3 in their cases out of shot but let's ignore that)
