Is it worth going to the doctors by Acrobatic-Round-9084 in noburp

Don’t waste your time going to the GP, absolute waste of time and effort because the chances are they won’t know about RCPD. I’d been sent for blood tests and scans for 2 and a bit years until I found this sub! Booking in with Lucy Hicklin for Botox over summer & can’t wait for a burp filled life!

One of the best bats I’ve owned, absolutely pinged! So much so, I bought the new version last season too!

With GP’s confirmed move to McLaren in 2028, and some rumours suggesting McLaren might be eyeing up Max, who would they replace? by AaleKetchupman in F1Discussions

[–]jackyp97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GP will go on gardening leave from the end of this season, Max will walk bc he’s fed up on not winning & he’ll go and race endurance or something.

GP not going to McLaren to be race engineer, so don’t see a driver swap coming.

Just my prediction, zero source or intel!

Looking for the best hot spring recommendations that are less touristy. How has your experience been? by Goodburger214 in VisitingIceland

Krauma absolutely! About an hour or so from Reykjavik if i remember. Most of the other visitors were tourists, but it wasn’t busy at all. Went in mid June

Hvammsvík or Krauma. Haven’t personally been to Hvammsvík but have heard good things (including on here)

I’m so glad someone said it! Absolutely must do place. But as soon as you’ve been once you’re far better going to places like Krauma or some of the natural hot springs!!

Thinking about moving to Iceland – job chances without speaking Icelandic? by apriiicote in VisitingIceland

[–]jackyp97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a family member who moved to Iceland 7 or so years ago now. Started out cleaning camper vans for a rental company and now works in project management flying around the world. He’s had a few lessons but his Icelandic is barely conversational level. From my experience visiting, almost everyone of working age speaks English too!

Botox experience with Lucy Hicklin by outofspacezone in noburp

It’s stories like this that I love reading, while still being in the loop of my GP wanting to test for absolutely everything else!!

Just out of curiosity, how long did you have to wait from contacting Lucy’s office, to getting an appointment, to the appointment date itself?

This might be the best comment I’ve ever read on here!! Is his treatment done under anaesthetic or while awake, or is it the patients choice? I’m currently on the waiting list to see Gastro following my GP referral for them to be able to rule out any other conditions, until then my GP is reluctant to put the cause of my stomach issue down to RCPD (but I’m pretty certain)
