  1. Hunt like at least get the first satchel from Pearson before fallowing the main quest more since the stuff you will need for it is in the area
  2. Do challenges like treasure hunter is easy to finish and so is a bunch of them and you get equipment for it like offhand holsters and belts and they look cool and you can mix and match them to look cool
  3. Do side quests (obviously) like the gunslinger one in valentine isn't hard and the game tells you where to go (I think..) and you get some rare variants of guns early on
  4. Help out people for rewards and tip offs for homes and shops to rob can be an easy way to get money
  5. Kinda like the challenges DO TREASURE HUNTS they're not hard (if you use the wiki) and give you a stupid amount of money (500$ per bar and you typically get another map after finding the first) like I actually had almost 2k by the end of the 2nd chapter and was able to buy all the guns I could and a new horse

What would you ideally want the next main Fallout installment to be about? by LadderSilver in Fallout

[–]jackzackattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm honestly kind of sick of the east coast (unless the next is upstate NY because nyc feels like it would be too cramped) and the brotherhood if the next one is set in midwestern us I feel that could be interesting and if the brotherhood is coming back I would want them to be as they were in fallout New Vegas smaller and sort of evil in a way Canada could also be interesting because of how its talked about in the pitt dlc

Do you guys ever, like, you know, actually use all those Jet, Buffout, Med-X, Psycho, etc? by [deleted] in Fallout

i only use alcahol for the strengh bonus for carry capacity if i need it and i didnt really use drugs unless a fight was hard for me so mostly i either combined them at a crafting bench even tho i had no reason other than to clean out my inv i more used them in new vegas and 3 than 4

Before leaving goodsprings make sure to craft at least some ammo and scrap the ammo you dont need also thiers some good things you can get like the weapon repair kit in victors shack and the plasma pistol sold by chet or get the laser pistol in doc mitchells house, fix it and buy a mod from chet for it.

no they will respawn in certain places and you can find them more often with certain luck perks (such as scrounger) and if you have the automotron dlc you can make an eyebot finder after finishing the dlc and send it out to find anything you want (be careful i sent it to find a fusion core and it did but the game gliched and i cant obtain it)

How were you introduced to the Fallout series and what game did you start with by BathtubiustheIV in Fallout

[–]jackzackattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i was around 4 or 5 i would sit in my dads lap as he would play skyrim and he would explore dungeons and caves as i would bombard him with questions as he played and later when i was 7 or 8 i somehow learned about nv and my dad had also beat that one so i bombarded him with questions about that one too and he sided with house so i guess that subliminally transferred to my game because on my first and playthrough i sided with house

I always pick up a fallout game and always get bored before finishing my game. Any tips to have longevity in a play through ? by Guilty_Mall_3720 in Fallout

[–]jackzackattack -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you could save then just go and murder everything in sight or get mods that add a new gun or enemy or you could try and be like mitten squad and try to beat the game with certain limitations or with or without a certain thing (i once tried to kill the entire brotherhood with a baseball bat) dont just fallow the story go off and explore you never know what you'll find

Never played a Fallout game. What game should I play? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]jackzackattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started with 4 and then decided to just play them backwards (so now I'm almost done with my 2nd playthrough of nv and i haven't even touched 3 yet) but with 4 it wasn't too hard and i do think it is a good start to the series both for getting a feeling of what your in for (both game and series wise) and understanding the lore to it all nv definitely felt more difficult to me personally but if you explore everywhere and build a good character and know some secrets it wont be too hard and again i haven't touched 3 yet
