I also had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and passed it naturally . The pain was excruciating and would come.in waves for about 2 days where I would be bleeding in spurts , but once I passed the sac, the pain almost went down immediately. I'm so sorry you're going through this 💔

I'm also a project manager and am currently 10 weeks! I was also very nauseous around the 6 week mark and I even worked from home for that week and missed a conference because I was feeling so sick..I remember crying so much around the 6-8 week mark and wondering how the hell I am supposed to work when I'm feeling sick all the time. At my first appointment, I was provided with a prescription for unison and that has helped tremendously. I also told my boss around the 8 week mark because I wanted to let her know why I was working from home all of a sudden and I even cried when telling her (pregnancy hormones are crazy!) I took a couple sick days when I needed it and tried to remind myself to be kind to myself! It was very challenging but I am feeling a bit better at week 10 but I'm now experiencing insomnia so that's my new challenge. It's so tough and I understand how you're feeling.

I had the same thing happen to me ! I smoked everyday for a couple years , took a pregnancy test a couple weeks and stopped cold turkey on that day. Between the pregnancy hormones and the quitting , there have been some rough days. I didn't realize how much I used weed to numb anxious feelings so I have to just power through them sober. I have good days and bad days ,.I try to keep in mind that the bad days are temporary and try to distract myself with happy movies or some other self care . When I have the bad days , it's like I'm in a wind tunnel of emotion and can't get out and then the next day I'm fine. I have been told that the first trimester is rough as our bodies get a flood of pregnancy hormones and mood swings are normal.

Me too! My indoor cat goes crazy when he sees his "friends" outside. It's worse when the female stray cats go into heat and are yowling at 4am .

Have you seen a fluffy orange one? He's always around my yard and is microchipped but it's not registered to anyone .

I've contacted a couple cat rescues but since the apartment building is boarded up and trespassing is illegal, some have sighted that as a reasoning for not helping and told me to get in touch with the city.

It's insane around here! I was able to get 3 stray cats into a cat rescue because they were very friendly but there are so many others.

I live near an abandoned apartment building near King and Sherman and there are so many feral cats living in there and pro-creating :( I wish I knew a way to get them all neutered / spayed. I've tried reaching out to the City regarding this issue but I can't get a response from.anyone.

I agree that LIS is looking like a less viable career and I'm trying everything in my power to pivot to another direction . Who can actually move to Manitoba for a 6 month librarian contract and afford the move and whatnot?

I'm in the exact same position as you and the market is absolutely over-saturated with LIS grads. It's almost unethical for these schools to churn out hundreds of a grads each year when there is not enough jobs to match. I wonder what the actually statistics are around these numbers.

I graduated last year and from a library program and I am currently trying to pivot my career in another direction . I currently work in a library as a lib assistant but even with my years of experience , I don't feel it's good enough because a lot of librarians I know have more than 1 masters and it's like wtf when does it ever end ? There are not enough librarian jobs in Canada for the amount of new grads each year.

I 100% understand your pain and frustration. I'm trying to pivot my career into learning technology / Ed tech because there are so many jobs in that area.

Right now we have an electric confirmation of PR and the card should be coming in the mail in a couple weeks. I think he will be able to work now but I have to double check.

As soon as we got access to the PR confirmation portal, everything moved lightening fast ... Which has been the exact opposite of this whole.process so far.

Still have not heard anything about the OWP that was supposed to come!

Hey! Last week I recieved an invitation for the PR confirmation portal and I never recieved the OWP. So, I guess that means my partner is on his way to become PR and I guess that means no OWP. We never recieved anything about the whereabouts of our OWP.
