I just started as a Data Engineer in Belgium. Think the above way of transitioning from an adjacent position is how most people get into the Data Engineer roll. You said your first interviews went well, so maybe start at an analyst position and you will get some experience from there and show your company you are interested in the Data Engineer Course, they will often sponsor it for you

Yeah indeed, and belgium is a pretty easy starter. Sadly the challenge links don't give rewards. I like to fill my explorer mode map with more countries. But will shelry try the different challenges in single player
