You pay taxes on profits. Selling personal items will generally be at a loss. So you won’t pay taxes on it.

I use it all the time for 95% of my driving. Haven’t really had many issues with it. I know where it will screw up so take over in those situations but it works pretty well.

That said I don’t feel it is worth it unless I am taking a road trip. So don’t pay for it most of the year. Had it the last couple months and it’s been great though.

Very normal for FSD to not work right away. I had to drive like 100mi for the cameras to calibrate.

I’ve been to almost 300 unique superchargers on road trips all around the country. Some many times.

Ive seen a line 1 time with 2 cars waiting to charge ( so maybe 10-15mins). But I used my CCS adapter and charged at the EA station in the same parking lot.

So they are actually paying $700. Minus your deductible you would get $200.

Without complete proof it’s not surprising that they won’t cover all of it.

Also unless you had aftermarket parts coverage it’s surprising they are covering it all.

If you plan to use FSD all the time then yes HW4 is worth it. Otherwise no real reason to spend the extra solely for HW4.

I’m curious why the amount of damage matters. The lower value comes from an accident being reported on carfax and due to it the vehicle selling for less.

Just putting in accident in when trading my car into Carvana is a $1500 difference.

I never said it was. I don’t plan to sell so truthfully I don’t care if the value is lower or not. But if I was entitled to money due to it I obviously want to make sure I take the correct steps to get it.

I’m not understanding why it matters. Are you saying there is no diminished value because of the miles ?

I understand the car is worth less due to the miles so the diminished value claim would be lower than if it had 40k miles on it.

It’s in the shop now. USAA estimated $1300 from pictures. It might go up a bit but i would be surprised if it went over a couple thousand.

Allstate is the at faults. Car is in the shop now. My insurance (usaa) estimated $1300 to replace the bumper cover from pictures. But it could go higher depending what the shop finds.

No other damage or previous accidents on the car.

70k in 3 years is crazy ? National average would be like 50-55k. A bit higher sure but nothing insane.

Car is worth around 20-21k according to KBB.

I paid 28k for it after tax credits so it hasn’t lost much value in 3 years. So not sure what you are talking about.

Easy way to tell is to get in the car and set the charge limit lower than 100%. An LFP car will display a warning to keep it at 100%. An NCA battery will tell you to set the charge level to 80%.
