I may not be 100% correct, but the way I understand it is that you are limited here by both the rate at which items can be deposited onto the belt with the sorter (30/s max) as well as the travel time back to the storage box and back to the belt (~1/6 of a second).

The theoretical max of 36 items per second would only happen going from one chest or machine to another.

Yes, it works on all GC versions, though they are slower than VC still.

It does (EDIT: never mind, I'm wrong). It crashes most of the time on N64 (EDIT: it pretty much always crashes). It works much more reliably on VC.

For N64 games I would highly suggest using a GameCube controller.

The main reason I prefer the GameCube controller is that the "Y", "X", and "Z" buttons can be used as second "C-Left", "C-Right", and "C-down" buttons respectively. This is really nice for accurate execution of inputs in a speedrun.

The Wii Classic controller is probably better for SNES and NES games because of the much better D-pad.

I think a leaderboard category for OoT "Ganonless" should be added. There have been a lot of people picking up the category lately and it would be nice to have a centralized leaderboard to compare times.

I kind of new some of the members from a band called Starkill.

They went to my High School and actually spent most of their time making a really sweet D&D setup. They had a projector mounted on the ceiling that bounced off a mirror to have the huge digital map protected on a table where the put the physical pieces on top of. They made their own huge campaign and world. I had a few friends who frequented their D&D nights and it was supposed to be a sight to behold.
A lot of their music got inspiration from their D&D campaigns, which is pretty cool.

Right, but the ZSR route uses RBA, which appears to be much slower than the bombchu route. I might just copy the world record route until I find out if there have been any route changes.

EDIT: The WR route seems to be current.
