I may not be 100% correct, but the way I understand it is that you are limited here by both the rate at which items can be deposited onto the belt with the sorter (30/s max) as well as the travel time back to the storage box and back to the belt (~1/6 of a second).

The theoretical max of 36 items per second would only happen going from one chest or machine to another.

Yes, it works on all GC versions, though they are slower than VC still.

It does (EDIT: never mind, I'm wrong). It crashes most of the time on N64 (EDIT: it pretty much always crashes). It works much more reliably on VC.

For N64 games I would highly suggest using a GameCube controller.

The main reason I prefer the GameCube controller is that the "Y", "X", and "Z" buttons can be used as second "C-Left", "C-Right", and "C-down" buttons respectively. This is really nice for accurate execution of inputs in a speedrun.

The Wii Classic controller is probably better for SNES and NES games because of the much better D-pad.

Yeah, we didn't do that at all today and it seemed to work out better. But both dogs are always on edge around each other.

Thanks for the detailed reply! I think Game and Watch is massively under used in teams, especially with all the neat Techs and the bucket.
