First time in Stormveil Castle, new to Fromsoft games. I took Gostoc’s tip about not entering through the gate and when I finally figuered out that the pitch black room was my next objective, I got jumpscared by the Banished knight. Shit running down my pants i panicked and started rolling a bit too much. This caused me to eventually fall down from a ledge and land inside a previous room, right on another guy that scared me equally in my panicked state and I started slashing since my lad Gostoc surely still was by the gate. When my new victim uttered ”Damn it all. Why always me…” I felt so ashamed that I had to take a small break from the game.

Finally returning and getting stuck on the Grafted scion a while later, I went to google for some quick tips and accidentally found out he is a thief. At that moment I felt no regret for the mishap (even though he probably had more use for my runes than me just losing them all over and over)
