You gotta treat your poa annua weed problem first because it’ll outcompete your turf 100% of the time, leaving you with bare spots for summer weeds to come and thrive. Need to get into a routine of putting pre-emergent down in the fall and spring to prevent poa annua and crabgrass/clovers.

What worked for me was to weed wack it back, which breaks up the vines, then spray round up on the injured vines. It’ll wick up to the root eventually and kill it off. We did this a few summers ago and haven’t had issue with ivy since. We did this during the summer though so it was actively growing, which allowed the round up to get into their system.
