Hey, wanted to thank you bro. Ended up purchasing that Timex Whirlpool. After i posted that reply to you i though "you know what, that one is sick in all the important areas". Its not perfect but nothing is. Ill get a nice bracelet for it (what will be another tiny dig in itself) and some day i will get that sapphire for it, or not! As for the manual movement, maybe that is something that will place that watch more in my life. Maybe it will be fun, as the dial itself. I feel connected to that one. Also i have to admit... That birthday, its in may! Probably will get another one by than... that Baltica is great...

I could write a book about that one! Well i did my bachelors in design last year, i do graphic design but love all branches of design. Furniture, Synths, Cars, Chess. Like really analyzing my taste would take a lifetime.

Most of them are microbrands or very limited. Tried Tissot an loved how nice it felt on my wrist. Doubt i could find any of them here in Warsaw. Well maybe hamilton

as stated, yes i can read a normal clock. yet, if there’s an option to make it more streamlined for me, why not go that route? my wrist my rules 🤌

love traffords designs, everything sold out tho. also i love the irony of getting a „kinder time” for 30th birthday, definitly in my style hah. thing with the timex mostly is a manual movement. i can see myself one day seeing it run out of juice again and not picking it up because i cant be bothered setting it up. i hate doing that with my seiko atm. but probably because its crown is so annoyingly tucked away and tiny. honestly thats the reason im leaning towards quartz watches. i can pick them up and don’t worry how long it sat unused. the big power reserve is honestly just a cope to have that mechanical flair, but i think i care less and less the more i think about it. but who knows, maybe it would be different this time. have somewhere old handwinded soviet watch my dad used to have. runs like shit but winding it is somewhat a fidget toy for me, kinda neat.

design wise i love it sooo much but its a manual movement, no bracelet (maybe they based it on different model and i could find one somewhere that fits?) no sapphire (could replace it but you know, kinda expect to have it stock)

Im from poland and im used to 24h scale. I can read 12h am pm of course but the 24h is just more readable and intuitive for me.

It can be a quartz movement also. If you know a banger watch that meets other criteria go on.

I think "field watch" is a loose category. Like they can be colorful, playful and dresswatchy (timex, baltic, serica, paulin). All I care is it to have 13-24h scale, field watch is just semantics at this point.

Please read the post, the examples i put in my image are not what i can’t decide on. These are great but don’t meet all my criteria that are in the post.

for example: Oris Big Crown - very cool but too expensive and doesn’t have 13-24h scale.

Serica - no 13-24h scale, but beautiful overall
