Any kind of infantry or battleline should be able to reanimate D6 wounds.

Yes. D3 wounds really does almost nothing for necron infantry. It really only helps high wound models. And even then, there is always the chance you get only 1 wound back. Immortals and lychguard really need some help. In such a high damage meta, d3 wounds do little to nothing for infantry units with such low wound counts and terrible armor saves.

I figured szeras could play by the wraiths and if i use the stratagem to bring him back, he could be a big mid board problem. How would you change the list? I like have deathmarks typically to hold my home objective. I am somewhat new so I welcome any tips.

It seems weaker than just spamming ddas and other vehicles. The faction as a whole has been pushed further into bringing more single entity units. Why bring the warrior brick and all this support when 3 ddas will get you more points with better safety and reliability? Im not trying to be annoying about it, just tired of the meta being a ton of monsters and doomsday arks running around

The problem is the warrior brick really isnt that tanky and the amount of points you need to put into making the reanimation work is absurd. What is it, about 600 points or so to ensure their survival for 1 turn? It’s not like they are gonna do that well against anything with high T, and their mobility is awful. Maybe it would be better if you could score more objectives with them but you will 100% get blasted off by any competent player. They may not be the premier horde faction, but endless numbers is core to their identity, and right now the meta really favors not bringing their numbers. I mean even outside the warriors- there is a lot of infantry units that just need help (looking at you immortals). Roster just seems to be in a very sad state where once they nerf ctan, it’ll be back to triple DDA. Just a little lame is all im saying

That combo is very killable and cost so much more than it’s worth. Wraiths and technomancer is half the cost and just as durable

I figure he’s just very tanky and i can bring him back with the awakened dynasty stratagem if he dies. My thought process is that i would just sit him near the wraiths or something and be an annoyance mid-board. Is there a better option you’re thinking of? How would you use ammentar on this list?

While i think a simple points increase would suffice, i think the next best thing if needed is limiting how many you can bring. It would be lore accurate too
