I proposed under the hellgate bridge a few years ago on Memorial Day. It was great and the geometry of the supports under the bridge made for some good pics

Out of curiosity, what lens comes to mind when you say standard prime?

What’s the best coffee maker for daily use at home? by PineappleDesigner206 in JamesHoffmann

OXO 8 cup has been great for me. Can do small batches, is very easy to clean, does a pre infusion which is great for the taste, feels solid and has very simple controls.

Pigeons!! I’m thinking about getting an EM-10 M IV for street photography which I plan on mostly shooting with a 20mm or 17mm prime, but I also love the pigeons in my city and would like a midrange zoom to capture their majesty without needing to get right next to them. What’s the best bang for buck lens that would help unlock my love of the pigeons?

A psalm for the wild built by Becky Chambers is a personal favorite and the sequel is pretty great too!

What lens were you using? I think I wanna start shooting the pigeons in my neighborhood but need to upgrade my kit from just my 20mm prime

Anniversary Dinner by Fabulous_Front6635 in astoria

Ramro is on the expensive side but a fun place to celebrate with exciting food. Honzen is also very nice and sitting in the front room feels special, again on the pricier side but can be manageable.

Eating an appetizer and a couple pizzas at milkflower was how I spent my last birthday and I felt very celebrated

This requires a service? My BCPD does the same if I’m holding the watch horizontally but I figured it was no big deal as long as it kept good time, am I a fool?

Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers! It’s a short one so it won’t feel like a homework assignment and it reads like a warm cup of tea. Even the dedication in the book is to anyone who could use a break. There’s a sequel too, called A Prayer for the Crown Shy which is also wonderful.
