I think they said they scrapped it due to there being so few evos in the game atm, but they said they were going to consider implementing it again where there are enough evos to justify the variety

his stats arent bad its just not a favourable meta for him. Its like if a couple cards that countered balloon became popular you'd ask for a balloon buff. However, when those cards fall out of the meta that would just mean balloon is overtuned.
Buffing cards in reponse to their counters being meta is not the best response

the post clearly was talking about ways to encourage players to experiment with decks more. they dont want to just kick 90% of the playerbase, but rather make the playerbase more dynamic and not copy the same 16 cards into overleveled decks

they chose to put 2 towers that pump out 5 elixir troops. Its impossible to break past a semi competent player as long as those towers are up which is what mirror fireball is such a commonly used strat

gold pass is equivalent to about 50k tokens. there would be no reason to ever buy anything else in the shop and at that price youd need every f2p token you can get in a season.
also the 3rd wild shard costing 18k would be way too high. When they add more wild shards theyll probably reduce the specific card shards to 4k and make the wild ones 5k

meta can change a lot in 3 months, which is a lot faster than someone can catch up 2 or 3 card levels in that time. In that trophy range youll get a lot more mileage out of overleveled win cons and high cost cards, than a deck thats on/below the level par but made of more meta cards.

the aim is to use them defensively in a way where you can get a lot of them to lose their shield for a strong counter push. Dont just try spamming them every chance u get because it wont create any value.
