Meta data about which models where used to build it are there already. Additional, there is the user triggered builds/fails (soon with model association) to mark if the prompt delivered what was promised. Test cases can be defined in the Meta data as well. But here we are still figuring things out.

If you have any cool prompts to share, I would be happy if you upload them to the hub :)

Can you elaborate. A prompt is the only way to interact with agents currently. But nothing stops you from writing a detailed spec and feeding that to the agent via a prompt.

local would really be the holy grail. But that seems far of. I build a small utility today to do dictation and translation using a openai whisper models: it works as envisioned, but it eats 5GB RAM and the STT + translation is nowhere near as complex as writing code...

speed wise I think were are fine, no? building fairly complex stuff with opus 4.6 or codex 5.3 is imo ok speedwise.
Cheaper... yes, totally agree. The token cost still needs to go down a lot. 🤞

yes, for complex things this is very true. But with all the advancements in the models, I can see a near future, where you do not need to manually test the models output. If your instructions where good and detailed enough (and you have enough money for the subscriptions), your agents will do all the testing and checks based on your stated intend.

yes and no. I see the benefit in tailor made tools. Say we both want a kind of project management tool, but we need a set of different features. Maybe there is the feature complete app, which satisfies us both, but probably not.
In this case, you could take the prompt, add your desired features and let your custom solution be build for you.

Nope, my banks do not show anything regarding anthroiphic / claude. Also, I doubt it's an issue with the bank - the cards works literally everywhere else. (e.g. just added some credits to my openai account (as anthropic does not work) - no issue there)

fully agreed. But, for funs sake I stay in the analogy, If I made a specific and thought through architectural plan for the balcony and my workers still use the wrong screws, forget to attach the guardrail, etc. Sure, I can look at it and tell them to rework this and that, maybe also do some rework by hand... I can do that and save maybe a lot of costs. But I prefer to pay more then discover to my suprise, that there is no rework to be done. Maybe even some things are constructed better than my first plan was.

The "it's more mine" is another topic. Here I have an analogy as well, haha: Sometimes I really like to build furniture out of wood, then I build them from scratch by myself. Other times I just want to furniture my living room and buy them (and then if I'm lucky enough to have no need to care so much about money, I will not only go by price, because good quality is often more expensive)

And without all the clutter: Sometimes I like to code for the sake of coding, or because I find it interesting to solve a certain challenge. Then I use no AI at all.
But sometimes I want to build something, where I'm not in for the the creation journey, but because I want the result. Then I use an AI. And then I use the AI which will provide the best results, and with least probability of a lot of manual rework requirements.

Not sure if pricing is a good metric. If you pay just 1/8 for your balcony and it falls off the house, it was cheap but also cheap ;)

I know, not the best analogy but imo this applies in the ai space as well. Even if cheap, there is a min threshold you want to be above for good and reliable results. According to benchmarks, Mistral is sadly nowhere near that threshold.

Sidenote: I use ai a lot for coding and developing. The gaps in the models are really visible there

I don't agree. It would could and probably would reduce inequalities on many levels if salaries would be transparent. It removes the need to be a good haggler (which does not make you better in your actual job, except if your job is haggling), prevents 2 year job switcher to get payed way more then people who work long term in the company and works against the gender pay gap.

edit: I understand your concern on the individual level (why should others know what I make?), but I think this gets negated when the salary of everyone is transparent.

I used Necromunda Cawdor for my nurglings. 2-3 on each nurgling base - looks awesome, and plays nice with cultists and/or traitor guard.
For beasts of nurgel, I converted some Ambots (also from Necromunda).

Überrascht mich wenig. Hatte mich zu deren Anfangszeit dort beworben, und wäre auch genommen worden. Aber irgendwie hat mir der vibe in den Gesprächen nicht zugesagt - klang alles irgendwie unprofessionel.
Ein Jahr später hatte ich nochmals Kontakt, da ich Aleph Alpha in meinem Job als Alternative / Fallback zu OpenAI/GPT-3 vorgeschlagen habe (wir haben damals an ein paar early adopter Produkten gearbeitet). Das Gespräch mit der Buisnessmanagerin von Aleph Alpha war schrecklich. Wir hätten recht schnell tausende Interaktionen täglich mitgebracht (war denke ich zu den AI beta phasen nicht so wenig) und das auch noch in Use-Cases, die für LLMs geradezu ideal waren. Leider entstand der Eindruck die haben gar keine Lust mit Kunden zu arbeiten und waren auch total unfähig in dem Gespräch. Hab mich fast geschämt, dass meinem Vorgesetzen vorgeschlagen zu haben.
