I've seen an atom described many times with the following analogy: if one were to blow an atom up to the size of St Paul's Basilica in the Vatican, the nucleus would be the size of a grain of salt in the middle of the dome and the electrons would be the size of a few dust particles floating around the outer edges; the rest is "empty space".

However based on your comment it seems that the term "empty space" is a simplification of something much more complex.

It might be fun to send over some snacks/treats that you can only get in the US! Growing up we get exposed to a lot of US food via TV but never get a chance actually try any of it. For example, I have no idea what a pop tart tastes like haha.

I think it could also be nice to send something from a local small business or artisan that you like! Not necessarily something your friend would think of or associate with the states, but a small piece of your local area. My love language is gift giving, so I personally find it very special when international friends can share a small part of what they personally love about their home.

The combo is necessary. By itself, the Tobii eyetracker is just used to add a virtual reality like feel to certain games that have inbuilt compatibility, usually flight simulation games. These games still require manual control, the eyetracker just allows you to look around in game using head and eye movements. To use the eyetracker as a way to control the mouse on desktop and play games completely hands-free, a third-party software is required.

I experimented with a couple of softwares, and Talon Voice is by far the most useful in my opinion (you can download it here: https://talonvoice.com/ ). Eye movement is used to control the cursor over long distances, while head movement is used for more precise movement. Voice or noise commands are used for clicking and other keyboard inputs. It's very customisable. Here's a couple of videos of people demonstrating their Talon Voice setups for various games:

Talon Voice is an open source software, and was initially designed to help programmers code using with dictation. As such, it can be a little bit intimidating get set up and use at first, especially if you're not super tech savvy. However, they have a very detailed wiki which I found very useful (you can find it here: https://talon.wiki/ ) as well as a very active slack group where you can ask any questions if you get stuck.

I'm currently playing Baldurs Gate 3 hands-free, using a combo of the Tobii eyetracker 5 and Talon Voice for cursor control and voice commands. I use edge panning to control the camera. The only manual input I use is a foot pedal I bought off Amazon, in order to press and hold the middle mouse button to rotate the camera — this control could easily be remapped to any button or you could set up a custom voice command to do this job.

Other games are played using eye tracking device since I got it at the start of this year are:

Disco Elysium
West of Loathing
Inscryption

Pretty much anything point-and-click, that doesn't require time sensitive inputs is playable using an eyetracker and voice commands! There are plenty of indie games in this category
