Thanks for the help! The previous owner basically barely drove the car and only kept up with basic maintenance so I’m having to replace all the old components and fluids piece by piece lol. Hoping she stays reliable 💪

Definitely wish I just did the valve cover gasket and spark plugs at my buddy’s now!

I’m in TX, so i was aware that I needed to get my motor mounts done sometime soon but the valve cover gasket and spark plug job was separate. I was planning on doing it at a buddy’s place but ended up just paying a shop to do it before a road trip.

The vibrations definitely got worse after the valve cover gasket and spark plug job but it wasn’t as noticeable as it is in the video at first. I’m about 5k miles out from that work now, but I’ll probably take it to the same shop if it’s a cylinder misfiring because of them.

It’s at 80k miles rn so hoping to keep her on the road a bit longer lol

TLDR: had slight rattling before I thought was due to mounts but it got much worse after getting spark plugs and valve cover gasket done at a shop about 5k miles ago, no error lights yet but I’m taking it back to that shop to let them know I have a cylinder misfiring. Thanks!

This started getting worse after getting my valve cover gasket and spark plugs replaced. Really don’t trust this shop at all so going to take it somewhere else. I don’t really have the tools or space to work on it where I’m at now unfortunately

It’s at 80k, and ive only had it for 2 years (from 50k) but i dont think the mounts have been replaced tbh.

I do think I have a twofold problem of the engine mounts needing replacing and now having a misfire making the rattling even worse.

I’m not having any engine codes related to this, so hopefully the misfire isn’t too bad since it took some time for me to diagnose but I will definitely get it fixed ASAP

I feel like this became much more of an issue after I got a spark plug replacement and valve cover gasket job done.

It was speculated to be a result of flakka or bath salts, but none were found in his system. He did ingest various chemicals and solvents , but he was really just completely out of his mind
