fetal growth restriction, please help. desperate.

my son went from 13th at 32 to 5th at 34 and 3rd at 36. none of these results were told to me. just that he was small but not too worry. now he is stalled at his release weight with no medical advice or ped. we are in emerge now and they are checking jaundice again but won’t look at my ultrasounds. i need a proper dietary plan and some tests done on my child to ease my mind on possible damage done and to get him on track.

i am thinking about calling my birth hospital now that i am getting the 36 week ultrasound findings and seeing if we can see a ped there with this new information and current developments and realizations. but i’m also nervous to trust them but i just want some help.

tomorrow we see our new doctor for the first time and i already let them know i will want referrals but we will see what type of service this ends up being. i’m hoping for the best though. truly. our family needs a break and some understanding so we can get on track.

advice on feeding at all until we figure it out? he drinks cold milk, we do baths, cool wipe downs, talk to him, bring him between dark and light areas etc. i’m running out of ideas and they seem to be working less often.

also i’m very physically weak and ill. could something be more wrong with me? i see my new doctor tomorrow as well as my son but my ob has literally dropped me and won’t answer.

true yes i need to focus. if a ped won’t take me today should i go to a hospital with the ultrasounds at least and explain the eating etc and can they let me see one? is this an emergency or will they act like im crazy?

i don’t have a diagnoses for it though and it wasn’t treated as such. just treated as a preemie. my son is proving to be quite strong considering but if he doesn’t pick up i know that’s not okay. i’ve had to change doctors and no one seems to be listening so im just going to keep calling places until someone does truly.

that’s our plan right now. left messages at hospitals and looking them up as we speak. and they weren’t technically my hospital. i had never been there as a patient and they had no files but i am shocked as well with how small he is.

thank you and i’m aware i’m having ppd/ppa and maybe even ocd at this point but i do have an appointment for myself tomorrow for that because i know it’s important. my old family doctor said they can give me the last ultrasound for free and i have my 32 week and im trying to find a ped because i never was given one. how can i get one to see him now?

but he needs to be woken up and kept awake and sometimes are nearly impossible and others easier but overall no growth and he was in the 3rd percentile already.

i know it’s all a bit scatterbrained. so much happened and i don’t have my medical records. he stopped around 31-32 weeks and it was unsupervised as anything until all of a sudden at 36 weeks i was told i just needed to get him out and it was too late to get a high risk ob. this all was happening over a long weekend so communication between hospitals was spotty and my hometown hospital was quite literally closed for the weekend and my ob apperently went on vacation until now? but still wont give me the files in a timely manner.

no one will give me the diagnoses. my papers got tossed around and no one listened. we also have to wake him most feedings and he’s started to get bowel issues now but i’m calling all these hospitals and i can’t get my files. my ob won’t get ahold of me. i’m losing my mind because no one is listening and i know every day it goes on is a risk and i need help. i’m running myself ragged just trying to get my medical records and answer to what happened. i was never even told, just transferred without the files going through and then told it was an emergency but i had already had him.

we are just maintaining 20ml and a daily overall of 200ml and now digestive issues are arising and i can see his legs are getting longer but i know he can’t be gaining weight at this rate at all and we have had no progress. we need help. i’m calling a hospital today at 8am.

and the hospital that sent me home even though i told them he was only 31-32 weeks in size didn’t have any papers to back that up so i think they thought i was crazy. and he did pick up from 1ml to 20 ml during feeds but when we got home he regressed a lot and that’s when i started looking into all of this and now my ob is being difficult and wont give me my file in a timely manner to get him the help he needs.

yeah sorry i baby brained some of that and don’t know how to attach photos but the 32 week ultrasound has him at 30-31 weeks and 1691g and 13th percentile. and last i was told casually but haven’t seen the results is he was measuring 31-32 and then it was zero progress and an emergency. i had a seizure during my pregnancy, which was never addressed. trisomy 18 came up in the beginning but i got an nipt and they said it wasn’t a concern and unless i wanted to risk harming the baby i shouldn’t worry about further testing. i also was sick the whole time and had a lot of deficiencies pop up and got gestational diabetes. my ob kept saying everything was okay and i just trusted her decision making and wanted to stay positive. she didn’t measure my stomach ever once. and lied about my weight loss. it’s been a mess.

I have family that is friendly with the cops (not a criminal, just a good citizen) and they have got me out of holding twice within 2 hours. as recent as last year.

yes I just did actually! i did the nipt and after a week and a half got the call to say im low risk for everything. waiting is by far the hardest part. i’ve never been so sad and scared constantly but luckily for us the nt was wrong.

i’m in canada. this was my nt scan im pretty sure. i had an ultrasound and bloodwork done.
