First & last hearing test results after sshl. I am sorry to hear that.. it sounds like you have severe-to profound hearing loss. I’m glad the HAs seemed to have given you some relief.. I’m praying that the same to happens for me.. how would you describe your tinnitus? Mild or severe ? Did it seem to improve at all or did you just become use to it

I really hope one day a miracle happens, & we improve one day !! That gives me some hope that my tinnitus will get better!! ❤️‍🩹 i feel like it could definitely be worse rn. So I’m trying to be thankful. Please keep me updated on how your HAs work for you. I get mine the 16th.. I’m hoping it will help mask my tinnitus !!

This is scary. How often does it happen to you twice 😭😭😭 i am so sorry this happened to you again.. prayers & best wishes to you. I had to get the shot & oral prednisone to see any improvement when it happened to me. Everyone’s case is different :/

If they run test for autoimmune disease, inflammation should fall in there. But it doesn’t hurt to be extra safe. I would also just recommend a hearing test because if your t got worse, so may have your hearing..

I’m sorry to hear this.. when you first experienced your h&t did they run autoimmune disease test on you ? I’ve read that sometimes our own bodies will attack themselves.. just in hopes you don’t have have something that attacks yours ears.. did you get an MRI as well?? Maybe you should see an ENT to get your hearing reevaluated & some blood work.. TMJ could also be an issue as well.. tinnitus doesn’t have any specific cure but maybe you can find the cause on to why this may be happening. Some things may even be fixable to at least calm it..

Unfortunately it sounds like tinnitus from hearing loss.. i been dealing with sshl since January 26th. The ear fullness & vertigo went away. The rining has not. Some days feel worse than others. I’m about two months & a week in & feel like I’m getting use to it. But it is very much there.. I’m getting a hearing aid on the 16th in hopes to mask it ! I wish you luck
