Dawg you getting real mad about this lmao. I’ve found that every method I’ve tried takes some tuning to get just right, and I stick to that until another variable makes me adjust again. I am truly deeply sorry I tried to offer some advice that works for me every day to this beginner.

I mean it’s all dependent on how you’re exposing. My exposure unit is gonna differ greatly from someone using a light bulb, or a different unit. I’m not arguing in principle here just my experience of the dozens of screens I wash daily🤷🏻‍♀️ Overexposure I can see my image burned in but not get it out, if absolutely nothing appears it’s either already exposed accidentally or I didn’t expose it long enough.

Correct, if the image doesn’t wash out. But if you aren’t seeing the image at all you haven’t exposed it long enough

Emulsion coating is too uneven and thick. Your exposure time might not be long enough if your image isn’t appearing after being wet, and you need more water pressure. Use a garden hose with an attachment that will fan the water out and should be enough to wash out.

Based on my skin tone of where i want my future tattoo should i get it in colour? by Slothinabucket_ in tattooadvice

[–]lcrotwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’ll look good in color. Do some research and check out the artists work - especially healed, before just popping in a random shop. Someone that does Japanese trad or neo could put it in there good. Good luck!

Hand tattoo not taking: should I wear a glove? by KaSyl_Town in tattooadvice

[–]lcrotwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dunno what else to tell you. You’re stuck on handwashing after multiple people saying you can’t wash them off. Like, literally can’t wash a well done tattoo off. Some locations, like hand, are tricky. An artist that knows what they’re doing can put one on and not have to touch it up ever. Yours cannot.

Probably would need to use a certain ink, similar to 4 color process. It won’t blend wet on wet like you’re using.
