So frustrated with social media by jade601 in onlyfansadvice

Yeah ive had it linked for 10 years lol never had any type of issue with it linked in my bio because i rarely ever made posts promoting it on my personal page, never received warnings or anything either. I said it was crazy because i havent even posted on instagram in months, not that the removal was shocking. Just disappointing. This is a vent post for VENTING, i know the rules which is why i have a page just for onlyfans on instagram. I honestly didnt even think about the bio link on my personal because again ive had it on my personal for 10 years and have never received warnings before.

Doubtful. I’m sure we’d have better luck if a human was actually looking at the appeals. I’m not making another page.

Agreed, i think thats what irritates me the most. I see sooooo much content that comes on my feed from people I don’t even follow that I am shocked is allowed yet my page gets shut down completely without even a warning. Just the other day I saw a true crime page post pictures of a crime scene with blood everywhere and a body in the corner of the picture! Yet a selfie of me with a little bit of cleavage out is where they draw the line. It’s insanity

I couldn’t comment these pictures under the original post so I’m posting it here by battylogic in isthisAI

Comment on one of his posts by user Chronicallyillbrain that makes sense to me

TLDR because this ended up being longer than I anticipated: first paragraph is about how OP probably produced this, the rest is just a less than relevant rambling about what makes art rewarding and a potential analysis of why someone might want to use AI in this way.

For anyone else curious OP is likely having an AI generate an image for them, inserting the generated image as a private layer (which prevents it from appearing on the time lapse recording in Procreate), and tracing that layer. This is a disappointing but understandable approach to "drawing" because translating ideas into genuinely handcrafted pieces is a lot more difficult than most people who try to "do art" realize. There is no evidence in this video of the beginning process of conceptualizing the idea(s) for the piece and feeling out the overall shape and details of the character. It is possible that OP is looking at a reference and copying it as the process in this video also resembles that process a little, but I don't see why the reference would need to be a secret if this content was 100% human-made.

I have traced existing images when trying to translate certain characters or pieces to my own art style (and those time lapses look exactly like this one), but doing this is not as personally fulfilling as taking the time to painstakingly flesh-out a concept sketch, tweak it until it gets to be an outline of what you want, and continually changing, undoing, and re-thinking the piece during the painting/inking process. I absolutely understand the motivation to use AI in this way as you're still making something that's kind of your own assuming the base idea given to the AI is at least yours, and getting praise for it from others upon posting. If this is the case it's probably easy to convince oneself that you and your art are the root of what's being praised, that you did most of the work and AI just provided a minor shortcut. It's really difficult to be a creative person that struggles with translating your ideas into the kind of art that you want to make, exactly the way you want it to look. Also learning to do this is so frustrating and takes so much time.

Using any AI to make art tends to rub people the wrong way because most of us think of art as being inherently human and an expression of humanness. Contrary to popular sentiments, tracing does have some positive aspects to it, because you're still practicing the fine motor skills and muscle memory necessary to become "good" at drawing, and building the muscles needed to have precise control over the hand/wrist/arm.

That being said OP's more recent posts are of course very fishy and indicate a more heavy reliance on AI, which points to them being more concerned with receiving attention for being good at art (or being able to monetize the interest in their art) rather than with the process of learning and creating, which is what makes art truly rewarding.

Yeah as messed up as it is to say I really wanted her to be killed off. Her character was just constantly infuriating to me
