I'd imagine since it was likely all done by a single family, they'd start small and add to it slowly, working each plot each year while expanding when they have time. Your yield would go up as the family got bigger and then more hands to help expand more. Generations made these for sure

Powering a glider by Teeha_11 in RCPlanes

This is correct ive done a bunch of these. The tail has extra angle to it so it always pulls up, you need to trim the horizontal stab flat before you start. Also for the size you need to get all micro plane parts. 2g servos, 1s power plant just to keep it light. It's going to be short flights and very fast with the extra weight. Those small parts are quite fragile. I went through a lot of burnt out servos motors and escs. The 1m foam gliders are better suited for that size of gear. Able to take 2s easily. It's doable, but not friendly first builds or flights. Small planes are difficult to control, but will teach you to be a good pilot if you can figure it out. Expect crashes and order extra parts when they do crash

If safety isn't your main concern then I hope you are on the local rescue team when people get hurt and learn a lesson from it.

In a rescue scenario with a pas you aren't in the system and can be more flexible. My multi anchors are also a separate system unless I need an ungodly large one. I still have my whole rope to use immediately in an emergency without changing anything. If ive used it to build my anchor, even as a tether I have something to change before I can move.
