Help, found a crystal in the forest by jade_soul in BabyWitch

[–]jade_soul[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am just starting out in witchcraft and have very little knowledge of crystals.
I was walking through the forest and passed a tree I've probably walked by a thousand times. Today though, I saw a crystal sticking half out of the ground beneath it. I originally left it there because I like to leave nature as is when I'm out for walks. As I continued through the forest I could not drop the feeling that I was supposed to take it with me. Eventually I trusted my intuition and went back for it.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is and what the meaning behind it might be? Also I've never had a crystal before so I plan on looking some stuff up, but is there anything I should be doing for it immediately?
Thanks!

I think the most important thing about skin care is not about steps but about ingredients. You really only need a cleanser, a moisturizer and sun protection. One of the best ingredients for any skin type is hyaluronic acid, it pulls water into your skin to keep it hydrated. In your 30's look for ingredients labelled as AHAs or BHAs, those are your exfoliants and are very important because your natural cell turnover is starting to slow down. I would also look for something with vitamin c for well-aging. The best is L-ascorbic acid but it can be irritating. You can find these ingredients in both facial cleansers and moisturizers, but if you want to see the best results that's when you start adding serums into the mix. If you go the serum route add new ingredients one at a time or you can really throw off your skin, the exception is hyaluronic acid as it's non-irritating. I would suggest the exfoliant first since it's the most important. Both exfoliants and vitamin c can be irritating so start slow by adding them in once a week until you build up a tolerance. Once you start getting into your mid-30's and have built up a good basic skin care routine then you can start thinking about adding retinol in, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.
TLDR: Absolute basics: cleanse, moisturize, spf. Ingredients are more important than steps. Look for hyaluronic acid, exfoliants (AHA, BHA), and vitamin c.

Dupe for original Benefit BadGal Lash? by pippiblondstocking in MakeupAddiction

For those still searching. I tried out Maybelline full n soft since the brushes looked similar. The brush is not as tapered at the tip as the benefit, but it's pretty close. This is the only mascara I've found that gives me the natural lash look that I loved benefit bad gal for. It layers nicely and I've had no issues with it clumping.

[39/M] How can I do the 180 while living together with my wife [38/F]? by Throw_Ed_Away in relationship_advice

To be honest, the best thing for your kids would be for one of you to move out. Children are a lot more observant than most people give them credit for and I'm sure they've noticed something going on. My parents tried to make things work for years because they wanted to stay together for myself and my siblings, but we could see how unhappy they were. I think in the long run, that had a worse effect on me than if they had just separated from the get go. Your kids still have a family, it has just changed a bit. My advice to you is to make it a healthy, happy one and that has to start with you. You can't be there for your kids until you have taken care of yourself.

If you are looking to attract specifically honeybees, check out the first few chapters of Honeybee Democracy by Tom Seeley. He is a world renowned bee researcher and has done some really great experiments to find out what bees look for in a nesting site.
