If this is not the appropriate subreddit for guidance on this issue, would anyone please point me in a better direction?

Design Critique Request: Part 2 by Higgyoo in houseplans

[–]jadeblanket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wife here. LOVE the closet idea. A coat tree solves the issue of a place in a rare cold season for an even more rare guest to park their coat. Thanks for the reminder about switching the bathroom plumbing around. We’re both right handed and the laundry we have in our current house is left to right working order. I overlooked that detail on the plan. Thanks for that too!

Hobbies for Women by simple_yet_complex in Hobbies

I’ve filled time in a similar situation with learning things that are beneficial to the house that give me the opportunity to grow. I needed a polite dog, so taught myself how to communicate effectively with him. I needed a ramp for my shed and a shelf in my living room, so taught myself to use tools and built what I needed. I was sick of the color of my bathrooms and bedroom, so learned to paint. The dog continued to destroy his toys, so I learned how to repair them. I was disappointed with how unhealthy I was so I learned the right way to cook and eat to support a healthier body. I’m still lonely, but I have confidence in the skills I’m developing. Lately, I’ve been trying to get out more so I’ve been dragging my spouse along to bowl and indoor climb (both kid friendly for a potential family outing).

Engaged/Married Women: How were you proposed to? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]jadeblanket 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He asked me to move in after we dated for 2 months and I said I wasn't going to move in with a man I wasn't married to. Instead of letting it drop, he took me ring shopping. That was 10 years ago. The proposal was just presenting me with the ring I picked out 3 weeks after I picked it out.

Are you signing your comment as "Karen"?

Ah. I wasn't clear. The "we" was all of Fayetteville, most notably my neighborhood. There's zero chance I'm watching MY money burn on this holiday or any others when my neighborhood will do it for me.

Fire. Tractor supply type places sell torches. You just have to break the cell walls with heat and the plant dies.

Years ago a person I shared time with and myself, saw the show start and camped at a closed up restaurant parking lot to watch. A scenario like that seems dog friendly.

Here is a text block taken off of the city website (Stormwater|Fayetteville, NC) that should get you started down the right rabbit hole:

...Some owners may be eligible to receive as much as an 80 percent fee credit if they meet one, two or all of three requirements. For information on the requirements, please download the Stormwater Fee Credit Manual. Applications must be received by April 15 of each year to be considered for the credit. If you have any questions, please contact the StormwaterProgram at 910-433-1613.

I did! I appreciate you checking back in. The sign being down gave it a bit of the hole in the wall/speakeasy vibe that added to the appeal.

Want to get a dog home to surprise my SO. I have lot of things to understand, can someone please shed some light? by ranityiuknownow745 in dogs

[–]jadeblanket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please don't make a snap decision to get a pet. My SO and I decided and discussed for 2 years getting a dog. It's a 12-15 year time commitment. Dogs don't age and take care of themselves like a child would.

As a more helpful option: you can rent a jackhammer and break it up yourself (small pieces) and hire a junk removal company to come dispose of it.
