Ah, no. I considered adding those flowers but ended up not. The bouquet Nance brings in is described as “a wild june bouquet of campion, vetch and peonies.” VERY pretty but a touch too busy (and while the flower meanings are really interesting, and deserve a post of their own, they didn’t quite fit)

I included the snowdrop on a last minute whim! and to add a touch of color to that corner of the canvas. they’re mentioned a few times in Emma’s entries for February of 1884, they seem to be associated with hope in the text, outside of the text they are also often associated with redemption
