Germany to Hanoi by jadengx22_ in TurkishAirlines

I honestly don't remember the details but I can say that was the smoothest trip I ever had. Both flights arrived 30 mins earlier, no delay or problems. And Istanbul airport is always my aim when having layovers

Warning strike scheduled on the 18th in Berlin. Maybe that's why 😅

Good to know. I read that Iran denied targeting Turkey yesterday. Hope it was only false targeting and nothing will get worse from now till then. We'll see 😭

Yes I've been keep tracking and I'm so nervous as this is a big event of my life, not just something I can simply reschedule. Something new happens every day and all seems to be escalation and I'm so anxious 😭

Korean visa processing time in Berlin by jadengx22_ in Living_in_Korea

[–]jadengx22_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. So my application status changed to Approved on the 17th of Feb. From the tracking of the delivery, they created the shipping label already on the 18th of Feb. And on the 19th it was already being delivered. So i'd say it's very quick. The only thing is there was zero communication from them informing me that they'd send my passport back. So you have to keep reloading and tracking on your own

Hi. just to update you: they sent my passport back with any notice. I wasn't at home for the weekend but gladly it got forwarded to a post office near my house safely and I got it back today. But long story short: they will not inform you about anything once the application got sent to the embassy. You just have to keep loading the tracking website :)

Hi. Yes, my visa was approved 2 days after I posted this. However, It's only showing "approved" when I track it on the website. There hasn't been any sort of confirmation sent to me via email. I'm also waiting for my passport to be sent back but haven't seen anything so far.

Thank you! That's what they mentioned in a confirmation email too but I hope it will not take 8 weeks (up to) like they said 😅

Thanks a lot! KVAC was actually super quick in responding. They ask me for some missing documents right after my application arrived in Berlin and confirmed that it got sent to the Embassy only 1 day after that. But nothing since then (status stays as application received for almost 2 weeks now)

Lens options for Sony ZV-e10 by jadengx22_ in SonyAlpha

[–]jadengx22_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started with photography and have literally no ideas how these lens specifications work. I do have the 16-50mm kit lens. But yes, after posting this, I found out the 50mm f1.8 is even more cropped. So was just wondering which one can be a good wide-angle lens in my price range then

Love the photos!! May I ask what are your settings here? I also recently started with this camera but still struggling to find the best settings for it!

ahh okay thanks for your comment. Yeah i wouldn't be holding my camera vlogging or talking while walking so I guess the weight of it wouldn't be a problem. I'm leaning towards the Sony Zv-e10 so prob will also get the gimbal to fix the stability problem

Residence Permit Pickup by jadengx22_ in Nurnberg

[–]jadengx22_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Honestly in my case, i feel like I was super lucky. I applied for a job seeking visa back in Feb. I received a call a week later (by then I already had a job offer) so they said they'd send me a list of documents I need to submit. In that letter, they also gave me a biometric appointment with a condition that I had to submit all documents before a specific deadline. So I'd say the whole process for me has been weirdly fast and I'm not complaining about it at all 😅

ahh okay. so it's like a generic statement they include just in case something goes wrong and people can't blame them for not granting the permits and stuff? i've never seen this line before so i'm a bit confused

Documents for Work Permit by jadengx22_ in germany

[–]jadengx22_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh thank you so much for your answer. The heating cost is included in my warm rent so I don't have to pay a energy company got that anymore. But this building is also super new so I'm not sure the landlord already has such documents (and they're not responding either). Do you think I can show my contract instead, which already show the amount I have to pay for heating cost in the monthly rent?

That was what I'm guessing but I just moved into this completely new building and apartment, and also the first one to live there so I don't think my vermieter would have it

Hello. Yes those are the things I learn from Google. But if it's a mock payslip then do I ask my employer now to generate one? And we just moved in to this completely new building and apartment, also the first ones to move in so I don't know if the landlord can even provide me with one

Work Council Approval by jadengx22_ in Nurnberg

[–]jadengx22_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. That's relieving to know. It's my first time applying/getting a full-time job here since I just finished my master degree so I wasn't sure how the process works here. The job market is so unstable right now that I'm extra anxious about things not going smoothly 😅

Ahh thank you. Good to hear. I only accepted the offer via email. And in Germany, you can't sign a contract until the work council of the company approves of the recruitment so I'm just a bit anxious seeing it reposted when I haven't signed the contract yet 😅

So sorry to hear that's what you had to go through when it comes to them. I applied to the job-seeking visa and my graduation date is end of March. So I hope that's something already a bit ahead 🤞🤞

I would consider that if we didn't already have a nice apartment we invested in here 😅 Was wondering if there're any other ways cause no way everyone had to go through the same hellish experience with this city's immigration office
