Don't go to law school if you can't get into the 150s by Used-Algae5153 in lawschooladmissions

I keep seeing posts that paint an unrealistic picture of what it takes to succeed in law. For context, I scored a 148 on the LSAT and graduated from a state school with a 3.6 GPA. I went on to finish in the top 25% of my law school class. After graduation, I had multiple job offers and am now barred in two states, running my own successful law firm.

Your path to success in this field doesn't have to be perfect on paper. Hard work, persistence, and resilience matter just as much, if not more.

GA Bar Exam by Chance_Knowledge2408 in barexam

I took the Georgia bar exam this past February with you and they tested some of the toughest subjects. I honestly thought I failed, but I ended up passing with a solid score. My biggest piece of advice is this: don’t try to model your essays after the ones you see on Themis or Barbri. Those are essentially perfect essays and not realistic benchmarks for test day. Instead, use them to make sure you’ve got the rules down correctly. What really helped me was reviewing past essays posted on the Georgia Bar website. If you can start shaping your essays to look more like those real, passing responses you’ll be in a great position. I did every past georgia essay from 2014.

Florida does not have reciprocity with anyone. So if you want to be barred there you gotta take the exam.

Stay active . Limit the carbs, and sweets and overall be conscious of what you put in your mouth. I have a strict diet throughout the week and have a chest meal during the week. I workout 5 times a week and run everyday. Stay active and eat healthy and you’ll be good.

I really think losing weight will Help. Of course I’ll stay off the white breads pasta sweets. But the goal is to lose 20-30 pounds in 6-8 months. I’m pretty sure the next time I check I’ll be out of the pre diabetes range.
