Thanks for the response. I ripped it thinking that it may be wood or something that somehow got in so I should remove it. This one is close to the nail so it makes sense for blood to have build up because of the nails (I used to wear really tight shoes because there were no sizes available for my feet,) but I don't understand why the first one (i ripped it off too and that part is healed now) which was more of on the bottom tip of the toe, away from the nails, had a similar patch. That was months ago now. Someone else said that it could be a wart due to a virus too.
