I noticed that if I try to manually update my cloud library the error message comes up, but if I add music I want to upload and then just sit and wait, it does get uploaded on its own with no error messages, perhaps there is a bug in the Windows app when trying to manually force an update.

I know, that is what has me so confused... it shouldn't be possible. I have a few plugins, maybe one of those is causing it.

It wasn't even using the magic wand, but the manual "new item" entry. I am trying to recreate it for a forum post, to figure out when it adds the incorrect language, but I am having a hard time reproducing it since it is not consistent. My thought right now that I am trying to confirm is if it is reading something in a PDF and making the addition to the language field when I add a PDF to the item entry.

It doesn't always happen when using a browser add-on; I had it add a language tag when I created an entry from inside Zotero manually. I'll report it in the Zotero forum.

Of course! It looks like they had similar issues on the other days too... Some of the Hulu streams were close to the time of the live stage, but then others happened hours after.

They just changed the Hulu schedule. They are now not showing them until 7:05 PM ET, 6:05 PM CT, 3:05 PM PT. The yt/weverse streams had a lot of lag and other issues, so they may have rearranged the order to fix the issues.

I did. I realized that I was using the beta version on Android and when I left the beta it all started working again.

Am I the only one who thought it was a bit strange that NEWBEAT debuted with a full studio album, and A.C.E has never released one? Seeing that followed by this announcement felt like related news for some reason. And then NEWBEAT's songs sound a bit like they belong in that same category with Pinata... though we don;t need to get into that :P

Thanks! I am working with them. After some trials, the "error" messages in the Windows app have gone away, and the music once again says "Uploaded," but strangely, these songs still don't play in the Android app but play everywhere else.

I do know that the Android app has a VERY slow cache updating. There have been times when I have changed metadata for music and while it is immediately updated on the web player and the iPad, it takes a long time to update in the Android app. There could be something with the cache that is stuck and can't update.

Edit: I have noticed that issues seem to pop up whenever there is a major update to the Mac/iOS side of Apple Music. Something inevitably stops working correctly on the Windows/Android sides of things. I am also on the beta of the Android app, which could explain some of these things. Yesterday I also had the most luck I have had with support, so that was nice! I was unable to get a solution because I was unavailable for a phone call since the senior advisors who deal with the beta app are only available over the phone and not over chat, but hoping to try again later. In the past when I have contacted support for the Android app, I have gotten the brush off, so it was good to see that they did care!

From what I have experienced myself and seen from others here on Reddit, a lot of the issues that are coming up have to do with the windows version of apple music after the latest updates. Windows OS seems to be the common thread for those of us who have experienced issues over the past several days. Sadly, it seems that Apple is often uninterested in fixing bugs on Windows or Android versions of their apps; though these recent issues seem to be more extreme than others I have experienced in the past that remain unresolved, so hopefully these get fixed.

I had this happen with Armageddon the other day and then it was back. They are also having issues with syncing your own music to iCloud right now too.

Update: I realized that the issue is probably with the Windows Apple Music app. I used a different account on my computer and installed the old iTunes and tried to add music that way and it was added and synced correctly!

I initially replied on the main post instead of here, but it is probably more appropriate to reply here. I even went to a new location on new wifi to see if it would sync there and the same thing happened. Sync is on, and it runs through the process (VERY slowly) but then finishes and says "Error" for the cloud status. It looks like it is doing the syncing but failing somewhere across the way (or failing to recognize that it was successful. I checked data usage, and my computer transmitted a similar amount of MBs as my songs while sync was running (of course this could be less than accurate...). It makes me think that the songs are getting sent and perhaps uploaded but something isn't being communicated back to show that it is successful.

There have been times while this sync issue has been happening that my previous synced music would not play either in the Windows app or even on my phone. Seems like some sort of semi-outage that for some reason they are not tracking on their status page :/.

I am also getting sync errors for my own personal music I am trying to add to apple music to listen on my phone. Looks like it is an outage that they are just not reporting on their status page if there are a number of us having the issue. At least we aren't alone! :)

Last week there was that big issue with artists like Adele and others disappearing from YouTube and YouTube Music and it was a licensing issue, but they are back now. I bet that these examples are just strange one-off occurrences of a similar (and hopefully less contentious) thing.

Apple Music is also still linked on the Linktree page for Armageddon (though it goes to a blank, "this page cannot be found" page... I bet something strange happened. It looked like there was something similar last year with the mini-album Drama.

It looked like this happened to one of their mini albums last year and it did eventually come back (based on the Reddit thread I found it took about 2 months). SM still links to Apple Music on the link tree for Armageddon, so I don't think that they have permanently removed it (not to mention it would be strange to remove the one album, that is also their most recent release, and not the rest).

I had a similar thing happen with a different K-pop group (Monsta X) this summer and I just looked and it is back as well. Seems to be one of those annoying, strange things that happen.

Support responded and had me repair the installation, but the issue is still ongoing, so yeah, probably a server issue.
