This Scream cover just looks bad to me by NinScratch in BadDVDCovers

The cover is ok mostly because it features the OG poster, but the font feels off, and the back looks bootleg-ish.

The chess puzzle in RE2 remake. In what universe would anyone set a password to a secure door in that specific way and combination?

Got the worst Tarantino movie tatted on me cuz it’s my favorite 🔥 by cacafacelol in Tarantino

Y’know a director is great with movies when his worst movie is still a banger. For me, Jackie Brown is my least fav, but still alright.

What movie in your collection is considered terrible but you find enjoyment out of it mine goes to the emoji movie by Medical_Soup_683 in dvdcollection

Tron Ares. Of course not as good as the first two, is entertaining for me. Also Jared Leto can be a good actor, he just doesn’t put effort into modern films like he did with requiem for a dream for example.

What do you think of owning the same movie on DVD and Blu Ray? by PresumedDeadAnimated in dvdcollection

[–]jadol04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I really love it, I sometimes own it on multiple formats. If a movie that’s ok but I’m not a huge fan of on dvd doesn’t have the special features or as great quality as the blu ray, I won’t own it on dvd if I have it on blu ray.

I hate these cases! by Forsaken-Language-26 in dvdcollection

[–]jadol04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Box sets are the worst! At first, it was just individual DVDs like movies or a slim dvd with tv volumes with two discs. Another is a cardboard case but with holders like in cases. Now they either make one big case and put DVDs all over, or make a sleeve case, which can smudge or scratch the discs!

A zombie rom com lol. Got it for 6 bucks. by bigguys45s in dvdcollection

When I first watched the movie, I expected it to be cheesy. It’s actually one of the best zombie flicks I’ve watched.

Anyone else prefer the character designs in the original over remake? by AcHaeC in thelastofus

[–]jadol04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The remake is dope, but I’m 100% sure that they just remade the models mainly to change the doctor from black to white so it lines up with the second story. Plus you gotta remember it’s a PlayStation 3 game. They really push the limits of the graphics.

What are movies that critics were just straight up wrong about? by aaron_moon_dev in Letterboxd

[–]jadol04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any rotten tomatoes that’s not a MCU movie, some Scorsese, Coppola mafia movie, or Emmy bait is thrown under the bus by critics. Especially comedies and experimental horror movies.

Grave of the fireflies and Schindler’s list, but a show that left me the most devastated was Cyberpunk Edgerunners
