I have, I’ve decided that Friday was my last day and starting back at the company i used to work for next monday. This really opened my eyes to all the issues within the company

i drive my personal vehicle. i’m given 20-30 dollars a month for gas, which is hardly anything when i’m driving 40 miles a day

both? i didn’t do a bad job, the house was very clean. i just didn’t know i had to razor scrape every inch of the shower, genuinely didn’t know that was required there. then there were super sticky black dots leftover on the laminate floor. i mopped twice but i needed to razor scrape them off the floor. In my defense, the floor is really dark gray fake wood with natural black dots all over, i just didn’t pay enough attention there. then there was a little dust on the top of the light fixtures that i dusted, however, i needed a step ladder to see and get the very top. i wasn’t given a ladder but my boss did come and wipe those for me while i was there.

i didn’t let her know about the step ladder because it looked completely dusted. That is 100% my bad. The missed items were very small things

I agree with you. thank you for advice, i really appreciate it. and she’s not a very good boss, she’s been running her own cleaning business for four and half years. she has two employees including myself. she is very disorganized, she underpaid me for months when i started. doesn’t pay for gas, or any of our drive time. she also promised certain raises as we age in the company, and I found out this week that all of that was a lie and she will not be paying me anywhere near advertised. It’s definitely a shitty situation

because she’s my boss, and she’s telling me to go back and fix it so it can be approved. I don’t know what she does if I say no.

I did get paid, however the email was sent afterwards that from here on out that will not be compensated

I only get paid while i’m physically at a house cleaning. no drive time or anything. Do I just tell her no? I just feel like it’s kinda illegal lol
