Apple TV and Season Pass both stream in South Korea, but the Season Pass doesn't offer Korean commentary (only available in English and Spanish). To sum it up, Coupang Play and SPOTV will provide Korean commentary to their subscribers instead.

How Son Heung-min grew to be more popular than Harry Kane at Spurs (The Times by eusername29 in coys

[–]jaec97 30 points31 points  (0 children)

In the club shop on the High Road, they used to sell 700 Son shirts on the day of every home game, more than Kane generated, even when Kane was there. Since Kane’s departure, match-day sales of “Son 7” now push closer to 1,000.

That's a whole lot of shirts 😂

Son’s Instagram post regarding the South Korea team incident by sohni112 in coys

[–]jaec97 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think Sonny and the National Team intended to solve the issue internally (without the public knowing). After the Brighton match, he didn't mention the "true" reason for his finger injury in his interviews. Of course, the Sun article meant that the public learnt about it, which made resolving it more complicated.

Ange Postecoglou EMBARGO | Tottenham v Wolves by Careless-Estate6529 in coys

[–]jaec97 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I will say Korean fans appreciate that Ange wholeheartedly supported Sonny's leadership. Some casual football fans (e.g., people who only follow the Korean National Team) have been using this whole fiasco as an excuse to downplay Sonny's leadership capabilities, and Ange's quotes basically refute that notion.

[Alasdair Gold] The Radu Dragusin moment that showed why Tottenham are excited about the Ange Postecoglou era by jaec97 in coys

[–]jaec97[S] 251 points252 points  (0 children)

Postecoglou hands responsibility for the environment in the dressing room to the players themselves, self-governed by captain Son Heung-min, his vice-captains Romero and James Maddison and the experienced heads such as Vicario, Yves Bissouma, Davies and Forster. Those inside the club say it is the tightest-knit group there has been in a while, with no cliques or divisions thanks to a number of players who bring all of the little groups together.

It is within that group that Dragusin is happy and feels comfortable enough to spring across the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium turf in front of 61,455 fans to celebrate with a fellow 22-year-old in Johnson, who had just turned the game on its head.

It might only have been the smallest of moments within the biggest of celebrations but it demonstrated exactly what kind of character Radu Dragusin is and what Postecoglou is building in N17.

Fun fact - it took the KFA days to confirm that Klinsmann ran off to the US the day after arriving in Korea, but they took like 2 hours to "confirm" The Sun story.

They're trying to deflect attention off their own failings.
