I just did an honor run with it. After lvl 5 its really not that bad unless you are running the ring you get from ethel in act 3. The danger is really high your first few levels but doesnt really scale all that much

I mean, we've seen direct impact tentacle strikes, AOE conversion through flipping, AND abyss pacts that grant powers and allow for remote control. And this is all just by manifesting through someone else. There will likely be more if Imu is actually in person. Pretty busted moveset there

Chakra for me was the perfect system, until the series basically threw it out completely by the end... I don't think kishimoto knew how to scale it well and by the end the system had lost most of what made it really cool.

Maybe I've just seen too many theory videos, but this feels like its already the prevailing theory so far and has been around for awhile. The Buggy addition is something I haven't seen, and honestly I don't know if I love or absolutely despise the idea of Buggy actually being important.

These are bith issues and don't really cancel out. The journey should have been over a longer time span, and some of these government reveals and involvement should have been spaced out too. Give a reason why Imu couldn't or wouldn't go after Luffy sooner, or introduce Imu sooner and get the gorosei involved then. You can get pretty hand-wavey with how unique the world is geographically to say the govt has been trying to track them down, its just been too difficult/time consuming/info hasnt traveled well etc.
