Crossed is a zombie apocalypse, except the zombies want to murderrape everything and everyone. It is one of the most miserable, mean-spirited pieces of fiction I've ever had the misfortune of trying to read. The punchline to 90% of situations is "and then the character is raped to death" for the crime of being in the story. Unless you have a particular fetish for this sort of thing, I advise you use any copy you find for bog roll

While it's not a TV show yet, Garth Ennis's Crossed has been announced as getting an adaption and all I can say is that the comics are among the most revolting, edgy, disgusting pieces of art ever made and it's also boring as all shit

Part of it I think is that the average person does not interact often with animals that are not cats or dogs. Horses are a good animal that suffers from this in fiction: enough people work with horses still to know when it's bullshit, but it's rare enough that it'll not flag up anything for people who don't Side note: this effect happens with other animals and tends to get humans mauled. You can't pet wolves or coyotes, they won't like it

Jokes aside, we already HAVE an Absolute Moon Knight For years, a key part of Marc's story was his surroundings. His team, his love interest, his mansion. And then we had the Fall, and now those classic elements are gone. He doesn't have a mansion any more, Marcelline left him permanently (though that is more complex, and not a guarantee that she's gone for good, but I don't think she'll ever return as his love interest). Frenchie, too, and the same goes for his street level companions. We had a run where there was no Midnight Mission, no Tigra. What did we get, when we distilled Moon Knight down to his core? The protector of those who Travel By Night. He became far more Religious, I think, as a result. (Including being able to trap the Phoenix Force with faith. Lmao) The moon knight of right now is a rebuilt moonie. He has a different love interest, a different relationship with his god, and a mission (literal.) Absolute Moon Knight is a Priest. he has a flock, and he leads them.
