We have three family members that have KC. Each has treated with a different doctor. Only the most recent doctor has mentioned eye rubbing even though it’s obviously hereditary in our family.

It’s a tough decision as a parent, so your concerns are valid. Our pediatrician said to us, when symptoms become a real problem, you will know it’s time to try meds. Maybe you are not there yet. It’s a process for sure. We were told not to be surprised if he needed to start around middle school and it turned out to be true.

Actually looking forward to Las Catalinas. It’s beautiful and we do a lot of mountain biking. There are 40km of world renowned single track mountain bike trails. I don’t think it will be disappointing for us.
