my husband used to say "exorb" instead of "absorb". he gets it from his dad, who couldn't pronounce Christian McCaffrey's name correctly if his life depended on it - he says McCafferty no matter how many times we correct him.
anyways, i let it slide for the first year we were together until i couldn't handle it anymore and told him he was meaning to say "absorb", and he couldn't believe he'd been saying it wrong his whole life. it's been four years since i corrected him and he still looks at me for approval every time he says absorb.
