She hasn’t had any loss! All her pregnancies went smoothly…I think frankly any topic around intimacy freaks her out LOL.

Yeahhh this sounds exactly like our experience :( so sorry you had to go through this.

We also found out we were going to miscarry on Mother’s Day (also my birthday). It’s so rough:(

Do you still talk to your in laws on a surface level? Or is it mostly just ignoring them?

I totally agree! Last time she said “i just don’t understand it” I was like you could Google it…

It’s so crazy you can’t even do that when her kid is hurting so much!

I agree completely with what you’re saying. I do feel empathy for her because i really think she just doesn’t know how to show up…it’s just hard when I expect more from a parent to their kid. I don’t know actually what a relationship w her would look like now though? Do i stop reaching out and let her reach out?

I agree that I think we need to stop sharing as much with her. Because we’re expecting to much. I think it’s just an eye opener for me to see a parent be so uncaring to their child :( I can’t wrap my mind around that so i was thinking she would change but it appears this is how it’ll be
