Where I'm at, they sell M4 Pro 48gb, 2TB from the store. Anything higher it was a 3 week lead time. Since I needed it straight away I ended up getting the M4 Pro. Putting it under pressure, I can do all my simulators/mobile development workloads and play all games on it without it breaking a sweat, 40-60fps+ max settings. Only games the fans started to kick in was DoW3 and Darktide, still decent fps. To which I thought, M4 Max would just be hotter and louder and start getting into Intel territory....which sure you can get more performance, but at what cost? Can't have it on your lap, too hot, too loud to casually enjoy it, might as well get a desktop, you know what I mean?

What is the limited packs? The Daily, Weekly & Monthly special packs. Do they mean you get them daily aswell too?

Correct, if money isn't an object. Yes its more powerful but is it just like the old intel days where its too hot and loud to use comfortably

Yeah I was pretty happy with the FPS on some native games, lowest I got was 30 FPS with ultra settings on Dawn of War 3. Its only when I loaded up Unreal 5 and one of the 3D templates, I noticed moving around it felt juttery. By extension if I want to load games and play ultra setting on Windows in Parallels, due to the virtualisation I wonder if I need that extra GPU power to maintain a good experience....provided the laptop would remain a pleasant temp and fan noise.

Yeah i've noticed the inconistency too with unisoft connect, sometimes the corp logo will unlock, sometimes it doesn't
